Lisa Fleming, who was featured on the TLC show My 600-Lb. Life in February, died on Thursday, her daughter confirmed to TMZ.

Lisa weighed 704 pounds when she appeared on the show at age 49, but lost about 200 pounds after undergoing weight-loss surgery, People reports. She had been bedridden for years, and knew it was time to make a major change when she found maggots living in her skin, per People.

“I’m tired, I’m hungry, and I’m not looking forward to having the paramedics move me out of this bed,” Lisa told cameras before surgery. It took seven paramedics to get Lisa out of her house and into an ambulance. “I can’t believe it’s come to this. But at least I’m doing something about it before it gets to be too late," she said on the show.

Lisa's daughter, Danielle, told TMZ that her death had nothing to do with her weight, but that she had been sick for a while. "At the end she was sick and her body was tired and her body just gave out," Danielle said.

Danielle also shared that her mother's weight loss recently allowed her to stand for the first time in years.

Lisa is the second person from My 600-Lb. Life to die this month. Contestant James "L.B." Bonner, who went from 650 to 400 pounds during the course of filming, committed suicide on August 2, reports People.
