Ipsos Beach Hotel

We are just back from our package holiday in Corfu with Tui and we stayed in the lovely Ipsos beach hotel for the first time. It's exactly what you pay for and even more. Great location very close to the beach,bars and restaurants on the main street. Very little noise pollution, because it's not located directly on the main street. The room we stayed in had balcony overlooking the sea and the swimming pool. It was cleaned every day and fresh towels replaced every couple of days. Nice continental breakfast, enough for your needs. We never used the swimming pool,but you can hire 2 sunbeds and an umbrella for the day in the range between €8-12 on the beach and it comes with a bottle of water.The staff was the best thing about this place. The girls at the reception made us very welcomed from the moment we arrived until we departured. Same goes for the rest of the staff, always polite and greeting us with a smile. As a first experience in Corfu, Ipsos resort and Ipsos beach hotel didn't disappoint.

Excellent hotel. Fantastic resort. Everything you need . Plenty of restaurants, shops and a lovely beach. Conviently close to Airport. Would love to go back again with my family in 2024. Cocktails were amazing

We have been visiting this hotel since 1994 and it's still as good as ever. It's position is very convenient for Ipsos seafront as it's only a couple of minutes walk to the Ipsos ***** with all the restaurants and bars. Our room had a wonderful sea view and some rooms look out onto the swimming pool area. The rooms are cleaned daily and have a proper shower enclosure which lots of Greek bathrooms don't.The air conditioning was also very efficient and worked well. All the staff are friendly and especially Maria and her colleague on the front desk who always have a smile and say hello and can give you any information you need. The pool area is nice with plenty of sunbeds and there is also a pool bar and snack bar which serves food in the day. The breakfast is the usual Greek buffet and is of good variety and quality. There is a bar open at night in the reception area but it was not busy when we were there. The Number 7 bus runs in front of the hotel every 20 minutes at peak times and actually starts In Pyrgi at the end of Ipsos so is always on time and not usually busy when you get on. It then runs through Dassia/Gouvia and onto Corfu Town for around two euros. We actually get the 15 bus from the airport to San Rocco square then catch the 7 to Ipsos from there and it costs around eight euros instead of getting a taxi. I can highly recommend this hotel and we are already booking for next year.

Good location for getting about and access to beach.Staff friendly and helpful but sadly the breakfast hot food always cold even as soon as out out . Disappointed but the pool dude snack bar food really good .The hotel is tired looking and def needs a source up .Ypsos itself needs more rubbish buns as litter everywhere with abandoned front line buildings.Shame really.

Ipsos Beach Hotel was everything we hoped for and more. Amazing location, clean and comfortable but the staff are what stood out. The friendliness and professional care is second to none. A special thank you to the lovely Serbian receptionist who went out of her way to help us. I can not recommend this hotel enough. Thank you Ipsos Beach Hotel for making our vacation even more special and we can’t wait to come back. Catherine & Alex

12th October and many of the restaurants, bars and hotels seem to have shut their doors for the end of the season, Despite today being overcast it was still warm. Next weeks weather is set to be in the mid 20s. We sat outside drinking a coffee watching the water. I’m sure in July it would be lacked.

We have stayed at Ipsos beach before and returned for the first time in 3 years. We had a lovely room with a view over the ocean. If you want air conditioning you have to pay extra but we managed without it. The hotel is about a 5 minute walk from Ipsos beach and set back from the road. The breakfast is Buffet and plenty of choice. There is a pool bar and a small bar in the reception area. All the staff were friendly and informative. The pool area has plenty of sun loungers and snacks are available to buy at the bar. The hotel is on the main bus route to Corfu town and you can get the number 7 bus which starts in Ipsos and runs through Dassia to Corfu town. There is also one green bus a day that runs through Ipsos to Paleokastritsa or change at the crossroads. We will stay here again when visiting Ipsos.

stayed at ipsos beach for 11 nights bed and breakfast and if i could find fault it would be 6 euro a day for air con otherwise great hotel rooms have plenty of room lovely sea view from the balcony breakfast good some days there was bacon then sausage and eggs every day scrambled fried boiled 4 types of bread toast ham cheese toms fruit yoghurt cake croissants just about everything continental and most of an English breakfast if you can't get something you like out of that lot then there is something wrong with you the pool was cleaned every day the pool bar has lovely food try the sausage pita giros 4 euros good prices plenty of room and sunbeds with brollies staff are great all round friendly and polite clean towels and bedding every few days bar is reasonable prices although the nigh**an is no barman don't ask for a cocktail because he as no clue but lovely chap the beach is 200 yards away and the sea is clean and warm bear in mind that this hotel caters for all over the EU and is not all English Ipsos is an ok resort people from all over the EU plenty of good places to eat we used Phevos and was not dissipionted with the food or service or price they looked after us every night
