The view of the Nile and Cairo tower is priceless .. the staff are helpful specially Abdallah (ask about him he’s a helpful and a nice guy ) enjoy the rooftop at sunset .. recommended

Nice hotel with good views on city and Nile. The roof is nice but fixing the TV channel of more than six screens in the place on basketball which no body from guests is following is really annoying. The parking is available but without valet and waste 20 minutes each time you go to.

Central location with lots within walking distance. Rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast selection is good.

The rooftop cafe is really nice with a spectacular view but the food is not tasty at all. Drink are not that bad.

It’s average hotel with reputed name. Food is average, breakfast is very very very average. Same everyday, no change in menu, fruits are yuuuuuuuuuuuk. Book the hotel online through other third party hotel booking software, if you go directly they will charge you like heeeeeellll. If any Indian is looking for the hotel with some vegetarian food then please go some where else but not here. Location is good. I had also attached one photo with roof view, its really a good view from roof top restaurant. One funny thing I had faced during my stay, “it’s hotel policy to provide 600 mm small water bottle only on the first day, even if you stay for more than one day or for more than a week or month”.
Conclusion: only chose this property if you are looking for economical hotel to stay.

Nice hotel, good location, you can actually walk to Cairo Museum. Hotel is Sharia compliant though, so no alcohol. We were allowed early check in without cost, thanks for that.

In my time in Cairo I stayed at 4 hotels altogether. This was a very good hotel.

Hotel Novotel is in a fantastic location along the nile within the hustle and bustle of Cairo life (although the rooms were very quiet and managed to sleep with ease.)

The hotel staff were very good. They were helpful, polite and efficient.

The decor is modern and the rooms are well designed. We booked a suite with the nile veiw (which was very good value for what we got.)

Breakfast was also good, with a nice variety of food for all. We are vegetarian and normally struggle eating abroad, but we didn't here.

This hotel has a small pool outside. Also a very small gymnasium on the top floor, along with a roof top bar which had a brilliant veiw.

I definatley would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in the city centre and wanting to explore the city. Not the type of hotel to lounge in though.

Altogether 5 stars - great hotel.

Very nice hotel, friendly staff, good breakfast.
The hotel is clean, standard rooms are spacious, sofa bed available, city view rooms are facing Cairo Borg. The small swimming pool has a jacuzzi and the coffee / restaurant has an exceptional view on the Nile. Can do better: Matress in sofa bed need attention.

Cozy and warm. With a friendly staff, and a great view over the river nile or the city view with the tower. Worst thing is the parking, as it's not inside the building.

Usually the service is better a Novotel but things were a bit hectic when I first arrived. I wasn't the only one to have to wait 20 mins to get my room as apparently there was an over-booking. I was told the room I booked is under maintenance and they're trying to find me another one. Other than that, the hotel is good with a good location and a good price.

Poor service, unfriendly and uncooperative staff, room service delays had to call repeatedly, 6 people room service provided 1 toothbrush despite being told, overflowing shower and toilet absolutely disgusting, air conditioning was not working they had to send a mechanic to come fix it, unprofessional in listening to our complaints as if they just don't care. Never going to Egypt again let alone this hell hole

A reasonable hotel. Appears to me not to be a business mainly hotel. Rather a tourist/vacation hotel. Needs a bit of maintenance.
Beds are very comfortable, and the cleaning level is great.
Breakfast good, but nothing out of the ordinary.
Great location by the Nile, and a great view of the area from the roof top coffee shop.
Good price, to some extent makes up for the above. However I had to really fight when checking in to really get my Non-Smoking room.
Make sure to ask for a Nile View Room.

It's a pretty good hotel for Cairo in a reasonable location but it's not 4* by UK or US standards. The lobby is tiny and noisy and the rooms are dated and in need of refurb. Room service was fairly quick and the pool looked good but was small and full of kids... It's also accessible and easy to see from the lobby so hardly private. If you can get a reasonable price then worth considering...

I like the roof and the view. Enjoyed having a meal with some friends with the great view. Service is not always professional, but the good view compensate it.

The room was very good in the size and cleanliness. The breakfast buffet was just great.

Small, cosy and clean hotel right by the nile river. Located across the river from the egyptian museum.

Value for money. Staff is very courteous and accomodating. Allowed early check in with complimentary breakfast.

This hotel was perfect for my stay of 2 nights for some business meetings. Centrally located, I had a great room overviewing the Nile.The room is very modern and has all amenities needed.

Location is really good, and views from the top roof are really nice to the Nile. Rooms are standard do not expect high standards and avoid Room with Nile view as they can be really noisy.

موقع الفندق ممتاز جدا ، والغرف المطلة على النيل تتمتع بمنظر جميل جدا ومبهر على النيل .. فيما يلي ملاحظاتي علي الفندق التالي: ١-بطاقات الدخول للغرف تتعطل بسرعة .. تحتاج لزيارة الريسيبشن مرتين او ثلاث مرات في اليوم لإعادة تفعيل البطاقة .. ٢- خدمة الغرف وطلب الطعام للغرفة بطيئة وسيئة جدا ، وجودة الطعام دون المتوسط. ٣- الأنترنت مجاني ولكنه بطيء ٤- يوجد في الفندق ماكينة لتحويل العملات (من دولار او يورو او ريال سعودي الي جنية مصري) ، وبنفس سعر البنك ، وهذا شي رائع جدا .. لكن الماكينة لا تقبل تحويل الجنية لأي عملة اخرى. ٥- الفندق ممتاز جدا لشخص ينوي قضاء معظم يومه خارج الفندق .. ٦- مطعم الرووف (السطوح) ممتاز جدا لمتابعة المباريات في الهواء الطلق و المطل على النيل.

We seen only the same one staff with very busy on the phone at reception for three-nights stay.
I waited for my luggage to bring up to my room for almost 50 minutes.
They gave only one complementary bottle of water for all three-nights stay.
Well-furnished and clean room.
Ten minutes walk to egyptian museum.

This place has a nice room with a Nile view the rates are moderate but the parking is far away from the hotel and you have to walk in the street for 700 meters so if you don't have a problem with that the place has a good open buffet for breakfast and friendly staff

I stayed in the hotel twice, nice hotel and friendly staff. The location is very good, very close to the Egyptian Museum and all public transport. The view from the top restaurant is amazing.
I give it 3 stars because the noise coming from the boats in the Nile side or from the club in the city side. Management should invest some money upgrading the facilities of the hotels and the rooms. If you don't mind sleeping with ear plugs and don't want to spend $$$$ on the 5* hotel. I recommend Novotel Cairo El Borg.

I love Novotel and I feel relax and comfort, great location in downtown, but Roof Top Service a little slow, moreover the parking is far from hotel and there is no gate or entrance to the hotel from parking area, but lovely atmosphere, modern decoration and crew

The review is for the roof top cafe, the cafe from there is spectacular, but the service is poor, very slow and unprofessional. Prices is a bit on the high end for a cafe, but again it's in a hotel, so it could be acceptable because of the views from there

Quiet, Familial and awesome Nile view but the wifi connection speed is extremely slow.
