Great hotel, near the main road. 4 star for not having as yummy breakfast buffet as I had in Cappadocia, MDC Hotel. Nutella, finger chips, fruits and almonds! 😍

My wife and 3 kids and I all agree our stay in Grand Haliç lstanbul Taksim area was beyond expectations. The friendliness of the staff was topped with excellent and reasonably priced food.location was paramount. We were able to walk every day to all the fun spots like madam tussaud and taksim area ... and galata tower and shopping areas. Even the boats trips were near.. Mr. Ibrahim ... desk manager ... was extremely helpful and always smiling. Loved your ... our hotel.

The rooms that have the Sea view are rather small and those that are large have no view at all..the amenities are average.. how ever the view is great

Amazing sea side view, nice rooms and great service. Pool is just ok still not a deal breaker. Also very near to taxim street aka ikteklal street. I would like to stay here again for sure.

Location is good for walking around to shop. The breakfast was minimal. I was given a corner room that was really small without much room to maneuver. The room was cleaned well and that is a bonus.

The lobby is nice but the rooms are not good enough according to the price. The breakfast is good and simple. It's close to the Istiklal street (8 min by walk) with a beautiful view of sea. However I've lost my rings in room but they told me that they didn't find them. One of the stuff was angry always bur the rest were nice.

It was great being at the Grand Halic Hotel. Wonderful staff all the way.

Didn't enjoy stay at Halich. Needs exponential improvement in terms of everything viz. Rooms, breakfast, staff behaviour.
Not a pleasurable stay. Even a bottle of water was not kept in room. The electric kettle was dirty. Small rooms. Don't recommend.

The room was ok, the view not so much (it was facing the back), the AC wasn't working but with the window open we were ok. In general the room and bathroom were very clean and the beds very comfortable. There were also many options for the breakfast that left everyone satisfied. The staff were very helpful and kind, and the hotel itself is very close to the centre and Istiklal road.

Rooms are dated and small, expected a nice 4 star hotel ended up getting about a 2-3 star hotel. Istiklal street is walking distance though!

Quality of rooms were very low, the services had a lot of problems , reception were good and helpful .

Great hotel near taksim square

Ada Restaurant has a magnificent view. I suggest fish instead of meat balls.

Best thing about the hotel is location. Rooms needs lots of improvement. But the service here is not bad.

We spent a week in this hotel...it was truley nice, the room was very clean ,the access of hotel to istiklal street and metro station is admirable...the receptions are polite and kind...but the worst thing was the poor breakfast that i wondered why this hotel have this miserable breakfast in comparition to other 4star hotel in taksim which are not as good as halic hotel in other cases! Please consider this item too 🌹

Good Basic Hotel

Great location near metro and instiklal street.very good wi-fi. The breakfast was ok. But the bathroom smelled mold all the time and we had to leave the window open. We stayed four days and they didnt change the sheats. Not a 4 stars hotel.

The only good staying to G.H. Hotel was the location, nothing else

The hotel is good - old, but good. Internet Free of charge. Breakfest is not good (feel itens) The best thing about this hotel: its location - near subway, main streets, taksim, galata tower, etc.
