The Mooserkreuz Hotel is an ideal choice for those looking for a great value stay in St. Anton with a very warm welcome.
This hotel is a firm favourite with British guests - it's a traditional, family-run hotel with a relaxed atmosphere and features everything you could want for your ski holiday, including a heated indoor swimming pool, steam room and sauna.
There are 43 bedrooms, all of which are traditionally styled and offer ensuite facilities, TV, free Wi-Fi and a hairdryer.
You'll be hosted on a half board basis with Ski Weekends, which includes an extensive buffet breakfast and a 5 course evening meal with a choice of main course. The restaurant is renowned for incredible food; the family bring both Italian and Austrian influences to the menu, and many guests come back year after year knowing they are going to get good food, comfortable accommodation with transport arrangements to get to them to and from the slopes and the bars, at a great price in St Anton.

All in all, we think the Mooserkreuz is one of the best hotels in St. Anton for the price, food and facilities.
Location
The hotel is located in an elevated position above the village of St Anton, a 7 - 10 minute walk from the nearest and most popular apres bars: the Mooserwirt, Krazy Kanguruh & Sennhutte.
The hotel is less than 1km from the center of St. Anton, and runs its own private shuttle (everyday between 8:30am - 11am and 3:30pm - 5pm) to and from the Rendlbahn gondola, which is a 2 minute walk from the Galzigbahn, which gives you access to the huge Arlberg SkiCircus.
The nearest piste is the end of the Osthange 3 red run leading into a blue run, which is a 7/10 minute walk from the hotel. From here, take a gentle ski down to the main Galzigbahn gondola (avoid skiing this at 6.30/7pm when the apres bars finish!)
Depending on snow levels, it may be possible to ski back to the hotel, but this would be off-piste and recommended for more advanced skiers.
There is a regular free ski bus stop near the hotel for the public ski bus service (line 3) which finishes at 7pm. After this there is a pay for night bus
Free ski & boot storage for hotel guests can be found at the main Galzigbahn lift. It is a 15-minute downhill walk to the the Galzigbahn lift and 15/20 mins walk back.
There are plenty of local taxi options (they will take skis) to help you get around too ( around 25 euros from St. Anton train station or the Galzigbahn).
Arrival Days
The arrival days are Sunday for a 4 night stay or Thursday for a 3 night stay. 7 night stays are available from Sundays and Thursdays.
Rooms
The hotel rooms are comfortable to relax in and each is individually furnished, most have balconies with great views.
Twin room (approx. 15-25m²) - sleeps 1-2: Austrian twin bed, private bath or shower and WC.
Twin room (approx. 25-30m²) - sleeps 1-3: Austrian twin bed, extra single adult sofa bed when booked for three, private bath or shower, WC and balcony.
Austrian twin bed: Typical of the region, they have one large bed frame containing two single mattresses, each with their own bedding.

BY TRAIN
The train works really well. It is quick, easy and cheaper. Plus, the hotel will collect you using the free hotel schuttle from St Anton train station (between the hours of 8.30am and 9pm), but this pick up must be arranged with us before travel.

We love this great value for money hotel, close to the heart of the infamous St Anton apres bars but far enough away to enjoy some sleep and the delicious, generous food.
