#NVH Development and Analysis from GETEC Getriebe Technik GmbH  Recently our engineers performed NVH-related projects in various aspects:  - #Vehicleassessment or bench test #assessment   - #rootcause investigation including #simulationmodel setup and #sensitivityanalysis  - #solution development  - #implementation (Rapid) #prototyping #manufacturing for solution improvements  - #verification testing The product range is covering conventional powertrains (vehicle and bus), #hybridvehicle, and full #electric vehicles. GETEC covered the evaluation scope from the component level e.g. gear to the full vehicle level. Crucial is the #objective and #subjective correlation of customer-concerned issues. More requests for NVH improvement are released to GETEC due to the lower surrounding noise level in electric vehicles. “Change is easy. Improvement is far more difficult.” -Ferdinand Porsche- Porsche, known for its innovation and cutting-edge technology, faced the challenge of managing complex wiring systems in their vehicles, which connect various electronic components. To efficiently design these intricate wire harnesses, Porsche AG turned to AUCOTEC's Engineering Base (EB) software. The challenge was the uniqueness of each wiring system in their series production. Porsche required a tool that could optimally map these complex cable harnesses, regardless of the vehicle type, and provide a precise representation for their service department. This not only streamlined the design process but also reduced fault localization time during servicing. Now, all central development teams use a single database for designing, leading to significant efficiency improvements and cost savings in production. Porsche is looking to establish EB as the industry standard for the entire branch, driven by the software's openness and the additional possibilities it offers.
