Sauk tragedy moves to court
Pamela Almli, of Oso, a lover of the outdoors, was killed when a 14-year-old hunter from the Concrete area mistook her for a bear last Aug. 2 on the Sauk Mountain Trail. Almli is pictured here in the same coat she was wearing when she died, according to her sister, Gail Blacker. Almli left behind her husband, Bill Almli, who she married when she was 16 years old. When she wasn’t outside she liked cooking, crafting or playing with her grandchildren.
