Nerja weather

Nerja has a warm mediterranean climate all year round. It’s true that there are differences between summer and winter weather. From October to March/April, average temperatures can vary between 14-16º C.

In spring and summer, temperatures are just perfect (between 19º to 28º) and, even though it could be too hot when there is ‘terral’ (a northern wind which reaches higher temperatures as it gets into the province), temperatures are nice due to the Mediterranean breeze.

When is the best time to visit Nerja?

If you are looking for good weather for enjoying beaches and the sun, the best months to visit Nerja are from April to October, as the weather is warm and it rarely rains (remember in Malaga we have up to 300 days of sunshine per year).

If you are not used to the heat I will advise you not to come in July or August, as temperatures can rise up to 31º.
