Heidi Klum’s daughter Leni, 16, covers Glamour Germany 20 years after mom

Fashion industry, make room for another Klum.

Two decades after Heidi Klum became Glamour Germany’s first-ever cover star, her 16-year-old daughter Leni landed her first solo fashion cover for the magazine’s 20th anniversary issue.

“I have been wanting to do this since I was younger, and I’ve been so annoyed at my mom because she wouldn’t let me,” the teen model told Glamour Germany. “Now I can finally do modeling, so I was super excited overall.”

She shared the cover in an Instagram post on Thursday, writing, “It’s an honor to share this with my mama @heidiklum who was Glamour Germany’s first ever cover model.”

The cover is the most recent fashion milestone for Leni, who also opened Berlin Fashion Week in January, just one month after sharing the cover of Vogue Germany with her famous mom.

“Since I don’t even know how old, maybe 11, I was begging my mom to … have a public Instagram,” she recalled. “Now I finally can, as of maybe two three weeks ago I could show my face, and I’m sort of glad now that she didn’t let me because I feel like I would have regretted a bunch of things I posted when I was younger.”

Heidi joined her daughter on set for the cover shoot, seemingly sharing both laughs and wisdom with Leni.

The legendary catwalker posted a behind-the-scenes video on Thursday, captioned, “@leniklum it’s so much fun being your plus one on set.”

When asked about the most embarrassing thing her mom does, Leni revealed that the “America’s Got Talent” judge likes to blare music in the school drop-off line in front of her classmates.

“She makes sure to turn the volume up all the way and starts singing and blasting and rolling down the window and I’m so embarrassed to get out of the car,” she explained. “But she hasn’t done that in a while because of online school.”

While she might not envy her car karaoke skills, Leni hopes to follow in her mom’s footsteps as a model.

“It’s huge shoes to fill,” she said of her lookalike mom‘s long career. “But I’m ready, and I’m excited to fill them.”

Klum first revealed Leni’s modeling aspirations back in December, telling People that her daughter was finally old enough to start her own fashion career.

“I always thought she was too young,” she said at the time. “We always also decided to keep the children out of the public eye. But she’s driving a car now, she’s 16, so I figured if you can do that, you can also model now if this is what you wish to do.”
