New Royal Enfield bike unveiled! Launch soon

Royal Enfield is on a bike launching spree with its most recent launch being the Himalayan 450. Royal Enfield is going to launch several new bikes on this new 450cc and 650cc engines. It has now revealed its next upcoming bike, the Royal Enfield Shotgun 650. So, how is it different from the Super Meteor 650? Let’s find out. 

Shotgun 650

Royal Enfield showcased the Shotgun 650 with a customary paint job at the Motoverse festival. Now, it has revealed the shotgun 650 that will be delivered to customers. The Shotgun revealed comes with normal colour schemes compared to the funky scheme of the earlier shown model. The colour options include Green Drill, Plasma Blue, Sheet Metal Grey and Stencil White. 

Specs & features

The Shotgun 650 shares most of its things with the Super Meteor 650. Under the hood, you get the same 648cc parallel-twin motor that produces 46bhp and 52.3Nm of torque. Wheels on the Shotgun are bigger at 19-inch/16-inch setup. Then we have upside-down front forks and a twin shock absorber at the rear. It comes with a 13.8-litre fuel tank. The Shotgun can be bought with only a single seat or you can add the pillion seat. The Shotgun 650 comes with the same feature list as the Super Meteor 650. It comes with LED headlamps, a tripper navigation pod and dual-channel ABS. 

Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 – Launch

Royal Enfield hasn’t stated any fixed launch date for the Shotgun 650. However, going by the trend, we could see its launch in the first two months of 2024. What about the pricing? The pricing of the Shotgun 650 is expected to start from Rs 4.50 lakhs (on-road, Mumbai).
