Morro Jable
Morro Jable is in the far south of Fuerteventura, in the region of Pajara, which is resplendent with natural spaces and idyllic beaches. Surrounding the town, you can find some of the best beaches on the island.
In the past, Morro Jable was a small fishing village, but over time it has become one of the most popular destinations in Fuerteventura.

Places of interest
Very close to Morro Jable is the enormous Jandía Natural Park, crowned by the Pico de la Zarza, which holds the title of Fuerteventura’s highest point at 807 metres. It is an excellent area for hiking and discovering the natural marvels of the island.
Presiding over the main beach in Morro Jable is the El Matorral lighthouse from which the beach gets its name. The lighthouse gives the beach a unique appeal and makes sunset a distinctive postcard picture.
And of course, you also have the option to discover Morro Jable and the Pájara region on bicycle, whether through the relaxed paths through the town centre or if you prefer something more adventurous, you have the steep trails in Jandía.
Beaches
The main beach in Morro Jable is El Matorral Beach (Playa del Matorral), an enormous golden sand beach that extends along the length of the town.
Right at the opposite end of Morro Jable is Cofete Beach (Playa de Cofete), which despite not being the best beach for swimming, its 13km of pure nature and beautiful landscape are a calling to visit.
