Central European Time (CET) is a standard time which is 1 hour ahead of Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). The time offset from UTC can be written as UTC+01:00. It is used in most parts of Europe and in a few North African countries. CET is also known as Central European Summer Time (CEST) during the summer. In winter CET has the same people and their clocks as CEST, but later sunrises and sunsets than CEST because at that time the sun is in the southern part of the sky and irradiation is lower.

In order to manage time zones when traveling, most of the time people use a single clock that is set to the local time at their current location. In some cases, it is also possible to use an adjusted time zone so that you have a second clock showing the local time back home. This way you can use one clock for all your appointments and activities during the trip.

Some online services offer a more convenient way of dealing with multiple time zones by automatically adjusting the displayed times of events and meetings. This means that you do not have to manually change your computer's clock settings before each meeting or appointment, but can simply switch between different time zones using the simple interface of your online calendar software. - Albania

Albania is a small country in the Balkans, with a population of about 3 million inhabitants. It is located on the Adriatic Sea and Ionian Sea within the Mediterranean Sea. It shares land borders with Montenegro to the northwest, Kosovo to the northeast, North Macedonia to the east and Greece to the south. Its coast lies opposite Italy, across the Adriatic Sea.

- Austria

Austria is one of the most beautiful countries in Europe. It is a federal state and divided into nine states, which are called Bundesländer. Today, Austria is the tenth largest country by area and has a population of about 8,5 million people. The country shares borders with Germany, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary.

- Belarus

Belarus, officially the Republic of Belarus, and historically Byelorussia, is a landlocked country in Eastern Europe. It is bordered by Russia to the east and northeast, Ukraine to the south, Poland to the west, and Lithuania and Latvia to the northwest. Covering an area of 207,600 square kilometers (80,200 sq mi), Belarus is one of the largest countries of Europe; its capital and most populous city is Minsk.

- Belgium

Belgium is a country in Western Europe. It is bordered by the Netherlands to the north, Germany to the east, Luxembourg to the southeast, France to the southwest, and the North Sea to the northwest. It covers an area of 30,528 square kilometers (11,787 sq mi) and has a population of more than 11.4 million. The capital and largest city is Brussels; other major cities are Antwerp, Ghent, Charleroi and Liège.

All countries in the CET time zone observe daylight saving time (UTC+2) from 02:00 am on the last Sunday of March until 03:00 am on the last Sunday of October.

Warning: CET is defined as the standard time of Central Europe, always one hour ahead of UTC. In common usage however, CET usually refers to the time observed in most of Europe, be it standard time or daylight saving time.
