be careful when you have showered, floors a so slippy .
air con only in one room, beware of mosquito's. 
rooms did have a kitchen, which was helpful.

We really like Greece as a summer holiday destination, but this summer we experienced a big disappointment, first from Loveholidays as an organization, and then from the hotel itself. After arriving at the airport in Thessaloniki, we took a shuttle bus to the hotel. On the move, we found out that the bus drops you off on the road/ somewhere near the hotel/ but not at the hotel itself. Here I would like to point out that families with several small children, people with difficulty moving and elderly people/ and normally they all have a lot of luggage/ who count on being left at the hotel and not at some vague distance, also travel for vacation. When booking a shuttle, the idea is not to use public transport in an unfamiliar place, to be calm that you are going to the right place, to be relaxed and not to carry heavy suitcases. But in this case, you don't get what you paid for. They drop you off on the main road, even the driver can't give you the correct direction of where your hotel is, not to mention some families had to call a taxi to the hotel. And on the last day, a shuttle bus picked us up at 8.10am and dropped us off at Thessaloniki Airport at 11.30am. Dear people, we had not paid for an educational excursion to Halkidiki, but we got it, we toured Kassandra far and wide. It is not normal to travel almost 4 hours a distance that is traveled in about an hour. I understand that this is not a taxi and that there are other people to pick up, but the route may not be too long. And so we arrived at the cherished goal - the Ioli Village hotel, the time is around 4 in the afternoon. We are accommodated by a girl who speaks very bad English and no other language than Greek. No one offers you anything, neither food nor drink after the long drinking/ and you paid for food for that day as well/. Here comes the next shock, that the appearance of the hotel and the type of the rooms have nothing to do with the photos we had seen on the site. Later, we understand that we have a program menu - breakfast at a buffet table in the restaurant, lunch by the pool, dinner in the restaurant. Now let me explain what we got from this breakfast program - buffet / toast, in 2-3 large plates are placed several slices of cheese, ham and boiled eggs, tomatoes, coffee, tea, fresh milk/, there is no choice, there is no quantity, there is none hot breakfast. The concept of all inclusive has nothing to do with what we have seen so far. Lunch - it turned out to be worse than breakfast, sandwiches, fried potatoes, and semi-finished products by the pool. Dinner - something that is cooked according to the owner's opinion. Yes freshly made, but a single meal/ likes and dislikes is just that..... choice is not the issue here, what if you are vegetarian, or vegan, or.... just starving.
It was some kind of parody of all inclusive, which we refused to use from day one. They can't even get it to halfboard. The owner was amazed that we were unhappy and tried to convince us that he was right because it was the end of the season. Well why after the end of the season are you trying to drill a service you can't cover? But are you happy that we paid for it... but we don't get anything... About the hotel itself what can I say, once years ago it was nice with a good design, but now the rooms are in bad condition, not maintained, poor hygiene , dirty /stained/ towels and sheets, big cobwebs hanging down.  So.... I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL, WOULD NOT RETURN. Our attempt to seek assistance from the Loveholidays proved mission impossible. In the end, they refused to change our reservation and give us a refund. We found a way to have a good time and relax, but I would never use Loveholidays and this hotel again.... happy vacation.

Exceeded our expectations.
Pool area is lovely, huge pool loads of sunbeds and great food at the pool bar.

We stayed for 5 days on an all inclusive basis.
Breakfast is continental, not a huge selection but still had all the basics we needed.

Lunch was great, we’d eat at the pool bar. On all inclusive you had a choice of items all of the menu freshly cooked to order. Which suited us great over a buffet style all inclusive.

For dinner we were served homemade food by the lovely owner.
All Greek dishes freshly cooked for us.
Very authentic, we loved it!

Ideal location 5 min walk to main town and beach.

The family/owners were extremely hospitable as soon as we arrived. We arrived late on our first day so they made sure we had a home cooked meal waiting for us on arrival. 
They also allowed us to keep one of our rooms all day when we checked out as our flight was an evening flight, which helped us enjoy our final day with less stress. 

The rooms we stayed in were basic rooms,  which was expected for the price but very clean and nice large balconies.

We travelled as a group of 4 friends and will all definitely be returning.



We will be back

I stayed here for 5 days with friends (women aged 27-33) and had a relaxing and comfortable time and were well looked after.
We were given apartments right next to each other and dinner was waiting for us in the room when we arrived as we got there late.
The host was wonderful and a fantastic cook, she bought out authentic and delicious meals each night. The pool area was big and the bar staff were incredibly helpful and really lovely. Food at the bar was 10/10 and I couldn’t complain. 
The rooms had everything you needed and if you didn’t it would be delivered to you, they were also cleaned each day with fresh towels delivered.
We paid for the all inclusive option and this was an absolute bargain. It is only a very short walk to the town and beach with great restaurants and wine bars if you fancy venturing out.
We were really pleased with our stay and will be returning 

Really lovely

I would second the review left by Jason recently, especially regarding the lack of an All Inclusive option (we also received random meals made by the owner for two days - no choice or options, just given to you - rice, peas & carrots!) and the poor state of the rooms, compared to those staying with Jet2. The shop is closed and abandoned. We received in writing, from the Tui reps and also verbally from the hotel owner and Tui in the UK, that the All Inclusive refund was being calculated to return to us. We have been offered 15% which nowhere near covers the credit card bill we now have, because we had to start eating out - as agreed and recommended by the Tui rep. The difference between room only and All Inclusive is around £1000 per week for a family of four. We have been to ABTA, stage 1, with no joy, as Tui are not listening or budging. Next step is arbitration. This is a very simple case and would be so easy to resolve amicably with Tui. We are so disappointed with the hotel and Tui - we will never book with Tui again, unless they start to look at our case fairly and refund accordingly. Hugely disappointing, would not recommend the hotel or the tour operator.

Not as advertised

A really lovely hotel! Family run and very personal service, all staff are so friendly and can’t do enough to help you. 

Amazing food all cooked fresh for lunch and dinner. 

Clean rooms, all amenities you would need they can provide anything you forget.  

Pool area very nice and clean. 

Appropriate for groups of friends, families and couples. 

Would definitely recommend and will be back!!

Six years ago we were at this hotel for 14 nights with two families: my husband and son for 3 years: 1) We were very happy to watch the RASPOLEN hotel, and my parents-pensioners. Then everyone was very happy, so they decided to come back this year. This time I stayed at this hotel for 24 nights with my two sons, ages 9 and 5. The hotel's impressions were only positive. A very comfortable family hotel with great food in a wonderful place with an amazing sea!

From the moment we arrived we were disappointed. Paid for all inclusive to be told there wouldn't be an evening buffet. It was Karma cafe. You don't get to choose. Your given what you get. Alcoholic drinks were house beer, ouzo and white wine. Kids drinks were OK. Breakfast buffet was shocking. No hot food. Just toast. Slices of ham, chicken, boiled eggs and 1 Cereal. We took kids to the pool. It was green. Everything the kids did  to have fun was met with dont do that. We were called d**k heads in Greek too. The kids were not allowed in the pool when it rained. Yet the entire sides of the pool were wet. Made no sense. The poolside showers didn't work. Lunch was at the poolside bar. It was just snack food you would get at a decent all inclusive hotel between meals. They only take cash so be aware if you buy food or drink etc. 60 euros for the week for air conditioning. 20 euros to hire a hair dryer. 
The evening meal was bland. The restaurant manager didn't speak English and eye balled us throughout the time we were eating.  We felt extremely uncomfortable. We contacted Thomas cook and got our all inclusive money back and ate out. Eating locally was good value too. The hotel needs modernising. From the front door banging from the slightest wind to cracked floor tiles with sharp edges and the shower that tends to lean downwards when your trying to wash your hair. Cracked balcony and loose edging. Didn't feel safe to let our kids out on. We should of realised the hotel was not going to be amazing by looking at the roof sign.
Don't be fooled by the pics you see by travel agents. That's the show apartment. The rest are run down and dated. We were told we would have great views from our balcony. Great views of the locals homes who were very entertaining with their arguing. At all hours of the day and night. Our mattress was mouldy.
I wouldnt stay there again. We were not the only people who were shocked with the all inclusive food and got their money back. The others that spoke to us said it reminded them of a run down british b&b dropped in Greece.
I hope this review helps others because we were duped by the other reviews left on here. It was a thoroughly disappointing week. We literally used the hotel as a sleep place. We didn't use the facilities on site after the 1st day. The local area has loads of restaurants and bars and really good beaches. 

If faulty towers was in Greece

I came to this hotel in May, for the second time, since it was in 2019. Everything was very pleasant, especially the work of the staff, very polite guys, the atmosphere is super! It was nice to surprise the refurbishment of the swimming pool.. We will definitely be back next year!

Absolutely dreadful. Don’t waste your money. Swimming pool filthy apartment key fitted every apartment. A couple walked in our apartment early hours of morning mistakenly. Decking by pool broken. Bannister on veranda loose. Plaster falling off building. We were moved hotel 10 days before flight because they over booked!!  We booked this holiday 3 years ago couldn’t go because of Covid I suspect they found someone who wanted 2 weeks as opposed to our one. Jet2 moved us to another hotel 17km away from our family. Said we wanted to be together. Sorry forgot to say the first hotel we booked was over booked. Anyway the third hotel was loli village (dump). We asked jet 2 for compensation 22 nd September. They replied December. Saying they won’t compensate. Loli village your a disgrace. JET2 hold your head in shame. We waited a long time for that holiday. We won’t be using your shoddy airline again
