HORTUS LOCI
the garden places
The Award of Garden Merit (AGM) is given by the Royal Horticultural Society to plants
that are considered to be of high ornamental quality, easy to grow and trouble free.
They are usually grown in trials at the RHS Gardens at Wisley and assessed by a panel
of experts. Although an AGM is a good indicator of quality, many excellent varieties
have yet to be trialed and so cannot boast this award. All the varieites included on the
Hortus Loci plant lists have been carefully selected after consulting leading specialist
growers in the UK and across Europe, so you can rest assured that the varieties we offer
are the best available.
