Dazzle Painting

— until 06.04.19

To commemorate the role of artists during the First World War, Tate Liverpool, Liverpool Biennial and 14-18NOW commissioned several artists to dazzle (a WW1 technique to camouflage ships using colored blocks). ‘Everybody Razzle Dazzle’ by Sir Peter Blake (God-father of British Pop Art) transformed Mersey Ferry Snowdrop with one of his colourful designs. Step aboard a moving work of art! While sailing on the ferry, you’ll have the opportunity to learn more about the history of dazzle. Check the site for time schedules.
