MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — Montgomery County first responders say they found an injured driver and a flipped car near a water treatment plant while responding to a Wednesday afternoon wreck.

According to Montgomery County Emergency Services, members of the Blacksburg Volunteer Fire Department and the Blacksburg Volunteer Rescue Squad were dispatched to Price’s Fork Road just before 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 27 for a crash with possible entrapment.

Officials say the first units at the scene found a heavily-damaged vehicle on its top in the road.

The driver reportedly got out of the car on their own, but was brought to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Montgomery County Emergency Services says the driver was the only person in the overturned car and that no other vehicles were involved in the crash.
