Military Researcher Zim, a young irken sent on a mission to observe a planet called "Earth" to observe it's resources and habitants. When he was put to Military Research, Almighty Tallest Miyuki saw potential on the young irken and immediately became her personal favorite when Zim once made an energy sucking monster to impress her. She was seconds away to being eaten when the Vortians used their own technology to restrain it, Zim was able to find a way to tame the monster and it was deemed useful as a bioweapon for the upcoming invasion. The partnership between the Vortians and Irkens strengthen and was able to produce more powerful weapons, ships, and medicine. However, they were running low on supplies, so they sent their best Researchers on different planets to observe and maintain resources to increase their supplies. Zim wasn't suppose to be assigned a planet since he's only a smeet and has more yet to learn, but he insisted to show how "great" he is. This is where Zim starts his assignment as a young smeet. 
                          
Though, you wouldn't call Zim exactly a "smeet" in Earth years, he's about the average age of a human teenager, it's just he's height that makes him small, that's why he earned the nickname "Little creature" from Almighty Miyuki herself. It was considered the highest honor to be given a nickname from the tallest herself, though, Zim thought the nickname was really unecessary considering he's still a smeet.

                          
"Zim, you will be sent out on a planet so mysterious that no other lifeforms of the galaxy has ever even known of it's name. You are tasked to learn it's habitants, observe their environment, and seek for resources that are useful for the Irken Empire and report your found data to me." a strong and cold voice boomed in the labarotary, her presence speaks authority. The room reeks of chemicals, but despite it being filled with various dangerous chemicals, every spot is sanitized and  squeaky clean. You could see Miyuki's sapphire eyes reflecting the cold metal floor. Tallest Miyuki stood in front amongst the other scientists who are all lined up in their white robes, her piercing blue orbs eyed every Vortian until they landed on the only other irken in the room. Zim walked up to her eagerly, his white robe barely fitting his arms so he has to roll them up in order for him to work properly. His antennae had barely even developed their sharp ends. Zim beamed and let out an "Ooooooo" in amazement and looked at Tallest Miyuki with his large Ruby eyes, he wiggled his antennae in salute and stood up straight. "My Tallest! I am honored to be trusted on this assignment that you've tasked me with, I'm glad that you've seen my AMAZINGNESS! And superior skills!" Zim raised both fists into the air as he gloats about the rest of his "AMAZINGNESS" inwardly. Tallest Miyuki just seems amused at how estatic he is for an assignment.
                          
S U M M A R Y or rather CONCEPT
Zim goes undercover as one of the young interns at Membrane Labs. At that time, Membrane has successfully created his cloning project and brings Dib everywhere at his lab for tests n stuff. Dib catches Zim's attention and likes him already and always reaches out for Zim.  Zim would always carry Dib and Dib woud often copy Zim's movements and smile cheekily.
                          
The two would bond tremendously as Zim along with P. Membrane and the other scientists puts him under various tests. But one day, Zim was called off from his mission and Zim returns to Irk. 
                          
Timeskip, Zim was transported from Military Research to Invader and returns to Earth, he meets Dib 11 years later and become enemies.
