I have a 200 but it wasn't powerful enough to run the cable extension. So I purchased the 4300 and it has plenty of power. I used it to carve out the stars on my 1st flag

My last Dremel (mdl 270) was just over 40 years old when it finally gave up and so I purchased a new 4300 model. So far so good except the assertion that it was compatible with all Dremel accessories.  Didn't work with my old model 210 drill press and so I notified Customer Service.  Their response was immediate and they offered to send me a new compatible drill press at no charge.  Now that is standing behind your product!  I think I will spend the money I saved on a couple more items from Dremel.  Excellent service.  Attached is a phot of one of my projects.

Exceeded my expectations

I've had a Dremel 3000 for years and it was looking to upgrade. It was important to me that my new Dremel was part of a sturdy case kit. Well I couldn't do better than this kit here. This is an incredible deal when you consider the cost of buying all these accessories separately.

The Ultimate gift for a DIY'r

After many years my old Dremel finally wore out.  I upgraded to a Dremel 4300. What an improvement for a wood carver.  The light feature is one of the best ideas for working in close shaded areas.

After owning a 4800 dremel  for about 3 years I had a great experience very reliable machine but I needed more power so I bought the 4300 dremel 9/64 it come with all kind of great accessories to use with the machine hose,right angle tip,grinding shield and much more butmy favorite so far has been the &gt;pa6&lt; handle it gives u great mobility and control of the machine the led light is great visibility when doing detail work .it also comes with grinding and buffing stones as well as other types of bits to get the job done last but not least the power that it delivers is amazing compared to the 4800 there both great machines but the 4300 was the best choice for me

4800 vs 4300 amazing results

I bought the dremel originally to get a bolt out of my hood hinge bolt on my Jeep. Got the tungsten bit and it chewed through the bolt super fast. I had a cut off saw for the hood already but ended up using the dremel to do quite a bit of the cutting and sanding of my hood louver I installed.

Great tool

Ok let me explain. I wanted this so much and asked for this as a B-Day present. I even wanted the big kit Model # 4300-9/64. I love the kit and all the accessories. I wanted to give this a 5* but no. I gave this 2* but I feel it should be 1* but I just love everything else.
Ok the reason for the review. It's simple with is the first few second of using this it just stop or seized up. Now I have had a Dremel for 20 years at least and have used the well and without problems. I wanted this new one because of the reveiws and the accessories but honestly kind of regret it. I have not reach out to customer service yet because this just happened but I will. I wanted to put this out while I have this in my head.
The funny part about this is I still had my old Dremel and grabbed that one and got the job done quick and easy. I put more stress on the old one that handles it with ease. And because of this I wonder about the quality of these new units. I'm hoping its a fluke but I wish I didn't have to think about it.
So before Buying this unit I would have recommended Dremel all day long but now No I wouldn't. I'll see if this was a one of or if there quality has just gone down hill. It will be interesting to see what customer service is like.
