With the most recent version of the RGR Plugin a lot of MAME games will crash the plugin (you'll get a gray screen with the words "Emulator Closed", or similar error message) and this is easily fixable by updating the game file. I can do this manually for individual games, but Davideo7 plans to fix the problem for all of these at once by updating the romset (romset should be MAME .158 or above; I'm not sure which one is currently used by the RGR plugin).

Until then, go ahead and report here the arcade games that crash the plugin and I'll fix them.

Vanelan : Yeah, this game seems to load fine for me too in both Chrome and Firefox.

asdren : Esc and Tab both worked fine for me and allowed me to open the menu and reconfigure the controls.
Are you using plugin version 2.30?
When you installed it, did you uninstall the previous versions first?

Vanelan : yes I have rgr plugin 2.30 and yes I uninstalled  the previoius versions.

Vanelan : That game for me has problems with the frames per second, which in asdren's case is probably more severe to where it freezes. It seems to be more playable with plugin 2.25, but with 2.30 it's basically unplayable. I'd venture to say that with plugin 2.0 I wouldn't have the problem.

tRIUNE : Yeah I remember  that I played this game before when I used rgr plugin 2.12 but with rgr plugin 2.30 many arcade game have problems.

Maybe updating graphics drivers might help?

Vanelan : It couldn't be my graphics driver, this laptop is barely over a year old... plus I can emulate more CPU-intensive games like PSP, PS2, and GameCube flawlessly....

It's just wacky that the Plugin has trouble emulating it for me when I can play the game otside of the plugin using MAME 0.160 (same version plugin is using) and I don't have the problem.

Ferdinand : Unfortunately I'm not able to get that game working with the new RGR Plugin; the problem is plugin-related, and not with the game file. Sorry about that.

On a side note I'm able to fix games that crash the plugin, but in most cases I'm not able to fix games for MAME in the RGR which load but don't work (like that one). So for that reason I'm going to edit the thread so that only the games that crash the plugin are reported here.

this is actually quite common with MAME in general. if Davideo7 used a newer version of MAME when updating the plugin then that's likely why theres now missing files.

can't update MAME without updating all the roms you have for it as well. a little annoying but can't be helped.

i would also like to let you know that i am having issues running non mame games in mess they run real slow or not at all

hitachi188 : Donkey Kong (US set 1) wasn't affected by the update and is working. Also, which browser are you using?

Perhaps try right-clicking on the game screen and select reload or refresh.

Also, there are rare instances where if you have a certain MAME game in your plugin data folder, the roms for that game conflict with other roms for certain MAME games, in which case deleting all data for MAME from your data folder fixes it (unless you know the specific game causing the problem, then you can delete the folder for only that game).

In other words, I'd like to know what the plugin reports when you attempt playing Donkey Kong. Click the Log button at the bottom of the game window and post the log here.

The Touchmaster arcade games don't work. The first one closes the emulator and the others report missing files. At the moment, I can't find any touchscreen-based arcade games to play.
Also, Beatmania doesn't work, either. I ended up wasting about 18 Viz on a game that doesn't even start up properly.

The problem was that the file was either never uploaded correctly, or was lost during the last server migration. All of the parent games are functional now, but I didn't test any of the cloned games.

I couldn't fix Street Fighter II' Turbo: Hyper Fighting (Japan 921209) even though I spent about an hour downloading various files from miscellaneous arcade games which were missing from the current file.

Give it a try and check the log to see what I mean; the files missing don't even have a file extension anymore.

Okay I got it so he had to have Gave it to you by now as Google Chrome has A New Problem.Google Chrome keeps on giving me the same error message that Flash is Required for Chrome. I already have Flash Running for Chrome and I Checked and it is still Running in my Google Chrome, but I can't seem to stop this Error Message that Claims I don't have Flash Running when I do. If it isn't one issue it's another, I guess I will try to play the Games on Firefox as Microsoft Edge is not Compatible with Vizzed.

JahEmperah : Firefox is going to give you the same result. I'd recommend using Opera Browser.

I have been using it for testing the games which I add to the RGR for a while now without any problems.

Carnevil (v1.0.3) isn't working.
Every time I try to play it says "Emulator closed" or it would say "FATALERROR: Required files are missing, the game cannot be run."

Is it ever going to be fixed?

JahEmperah : Firefox rebuilt their browser with the latest u_pdate, so maybe it will now work for you.

crazywerewolfboy : That game was broken with the RGR plugin u_pdate in 2015 and cannot be fixed on my end; it needs to be corrected within the RGR plugin code.

I found and fixed the problem
Carnevil (1.0.3) was missing a .chd file

I actually downloaded the chd file, and went to my vizzed file, then my downloads, last i put the chd file into the carnevil zip ...AND IT FIXED IT

the file is called "carnevil.chd" it totally fixed the fatalerror problem

I noticed the D&D series is still broken, I haven't messed around with my plugin files for Vizzed before, is there some sort of fix for this I can do on my end, I got it working on my retropi, but I tried doing multiplayer netplay last night with a friend and we weren't able to get it working.

  I noticed today that tarzan(v109c) does not load all that happened when I tried to load it was a white screen appeared and there was no sound or picture
