The hotel

An inspiring oceanfront beach retreat, the Royal Palm offers modern, vibrant living whilst keeping intact many signature elements of the original Art Deco design. Rooms are gorgeous, with stunning city or ocean views, rich linen robes to relax in and organic bath products. When you’re not out and about sightseeing or strutting your stuff down at the beach, relax by one of the two pools, a cocktail in one hand, a good book in the other. There’s also a state-of-the-art fitness centre and Renew Spa based on Himalayan salt with six treatment rooms. There are restaurants all around you but for good eats look no further than Florida Cookery, the hotel’s signature restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner. For cocktails, South Shore is definitely one of the places to be seen.

In the heart of South Beach, close to shops, bars, restaurants and nightclubs. Famed Ocean Drive and Lincoln Road are just footsteps away. Driving time from Miami International Airport: approx 20 minutes.

Studio Suites with views of Miami city or partial ocean views have 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

Deluxe View King Rooms are located on a higher level with views of Miami city or partial ocean views with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

Very friendly and efficient staff. Special kudos to front desk team, and Christophe who managed to complete what I thought was an impossible task. Good for business and pleasure, fine location right on the beach. Bar prices perhaps a little high ($30 for a beer and nachos) but I guess that's not unusual for high end hotels here.

Great service and hospitality from the people at the front desk. Took great care of us and made sure we had everything go smoothly. Highly recommend.

Customer service was amazing!! Christopher at the front desk and all the valet guys were incredibly nice and helpful!!! The view of the oceanfront king suite with the balcony was spectacular. Friendly staff made the experience that much better. Definitely coming back! Thanks Royal Palms for the hospitality.

This is the hidden gem of South Beach. I hate to review simply because I don't want everyone to discover it. This unpretentious hotel has the perfect location on the beach. Everyone is so friendly - and as I mentioned - unpretentious. The staff overall is incredibly friendly. Over the past 7 years I've been a guest multiple times, it is my go to hotel in South Beach. My waiter at the restaurant remembered me from my last visit, the waitress (I believe her name was Paloma, excuse me if I'm spelling it wrong) at the pool bar knew me and my room number by day two, Lani at the bar made a great drink, and even the cleaning staff always offered a smile and greeting. Outside of being by the beach you are within walking distance to the shops and restaurants of Lincoln Ave and a quick walk from the amazing restaurants on Espanola. I would like to make two staff call outs. First, Mahaya at the front desk she was charming, professional, and went the extra mile to make sure everything was set. By end of day one she was greeting me by name. No to be outdone, Christopher at the front desk was purely amazing. There was a glitch in the reservation (I booked through central reservation and not the hotel directly) and he went above and beyond to make it right. He also offered to personally make sure my next visit will go without a hitch, all I need to do is call the hotel directly and ask for him. I warmly recommend this hotel for all of the great people that work there, the amazing location and the overall value of the hotel. Read less
