Agios Sostis beach is located on the southern coast of the island of Zakynthos, about 10 kilometers from Zakynthos Town, in the middle between Laganas and Porto Koukla. It is a sandy beach, bordered by pine trees and caves and bathed by an incredibly transparent and turquoise sea. We are talking about one of the most picturesque and suggestive places in Zakynthos, thanks to its rock formations and, above all, thanks to its wooden pier that connects this beautiful bay to the small islet right in front of it, which emerges from the sea and gives that extra touch to the beach.

The name Agios Sostis does not only include this beautiful comfortable bay, but also the splendid islet connected to the mainland by a simple and small wooden pier. Think that once it was not an islet, but it was an integral part of Zakynthos, then one day because of the earthquake it broke away and became what we can so much admire today!
This place immersed in the Gulf of Turtles seems to have two different aspects: during the day, the view of this bridge and the island give a sense of serenity and peace, as if that bridge took you to an otherworldly place and far from the usual places that we are used to to see. When evening approaches, however, this islet begins to change its shape, its lights come on together with those of the pier, a nightclub begins to play music and the serene and peaceful atmosphere begins to become suggestive, but at times very romantic. In fact, couples love walking on the bridge, with only the warm artificial lighting and the moonlight .. nothing short of magical!
How to get to the beach?
To reach it you can easily do it by car, scooter, bus or boat. In the first two cases the road is very simple so it won't be a problem. If you decide to opt for the bus, know that from Zakynthos City, in the months of July and August, there are many routes that lead to the beach. In the case of the boat instead you will need to rent one to be able to get to Agios Sostis by sea, there you can immediately see the pier where to leave the boat once you arrive. If you wish to stay on the bay until the evening, we advise you to reach it by car, navigating the sea at night is not a walk and the buses do not run in the evening.

If you want to take a tour of the nightclub you must know that the entrance is paid, but believe us if we tell you that a lot of music under the stars, along with drinks and people having fun is a nice way to end your day on Agios Sostis; especially in the company of your closest friends or your partner!
