In Age of Adaline, Michiel Huisman plays Ellis (which is also the name of the character he played in World War Z ... weird). We're pretty sure the part called for "the most charming sensitive artist type."

Not only is Ellis easy on the eyes — the beard, shaggy hair and muscles are really working for him — but he's a smart, romantic, rich (because he's a math geek who developed an important algorithm, natch), philanthropic and funny dude. Sure, he can get a bit stalkery when it comes to wooing Blake Lively's girl-who-can't-age "Jenny," but he's cute enough to make many forget he's being creepy.

And odds are you'll develop a crush on him if you watch Age of Adaline.

Here's the thing, though: There's a good chance you've already fallen for the actor while seeing him in one of his minor roles. The Dutch Huisman, 33, has appeared in a number of Dutch and American TV shows and movies, but you probably recognize him as that charismatic bearded guy from:

As Daario Daharis, Huisman — who replaced the too-pretty-boy Ed Skrein in the role on HBO — is the ruggedly handsome lieutenant who ends up aligning with (and seducing, obviously) Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke).

Remember the part in the Oscar-nominated movie when Cheryl Strayed (Reese Witherspoon) interrupts her epic hike to go to that cute guy's party and then hook up with him? Yep, Huisman's that guy.

Orphan Black

Huisman's Cal is an old flame of Sarah's (Tatiana Maslany). Naturally, they hook up again in the BBC America series.

Nashville

Fun fact: Huisman used to be the lead singer and guitarist of Dutch band Fontane. In ABC's Nashville he gets to show off his musical skills as producer Liam McGuinnis. Of course, he gets with a girl: Scarlett (Clare Bowen).

More music on the HBO show! Huisman is Sonny, a dude who plays music on the streets and battles drug problems. He has a love interest, duh, named Annie (Lucia Micarelli).

Chanel commercial

In the ad for Chanel N°5, Gisele chases after him. And kisses him. HE'S THAT GOOD.
