Manchester United reportedly have a list of four attacking players that they’re keen on signing in 2024.
Attacking options at Old Trafford are in need of a real overhaul right now, with most having poor seasons so far.
Manchester United have scored the joint third-lowest amount of goals in the Premier League this season and so Ineos could be keen to revamp the department.
Anthony Martial will likely be gone while it’s also possible Jadon Sancho could be leaving permanently. Reports have also suggested that Facundo Pellistri is also possibly for sale.
Meanwhile, Antony continues to struggle with fans growing weary of his poor performances.
So with this in mind, it’s been reported that four young attacking players are on United and Erik ten Hag‘s shortlist.
Manchester United want to sign four attacking gems
According to Christopher Michel, there are four players that United are keen on signing in the summer.
These are – Joshua Zirkzee of Bologna, Johan Bakayoko of PSV, Michael Olise of Crystal Palace and Nico Williams of Athletic Bilbao.
The names are all incredibly exciting ones and players who would be huge upgrades and complement the players currently doing well at the club.
Zirkzee to start is a striker and would likely come in to supplement Rasmus Hojlund up front. He’s previously been dubbed as being better than Erling Haaland and would be a class option for United.
Olise is the one many are desperate for United to sign as he’s been labelled as a better option than Antony on the right. An absolute magician on the right, he’d be perfect for United.
Bakayoko is a Belgian winger currently ripping up Eredivisie for PSV. At just 20, he’s a top-class option for United to bring into the club and is also incredibly exciting.
The final name on the list is Williams, a very exciting option who has recently signed a new contract at Bilbao. He’s been on fire for Bilbao this campaign and has eight assists and three goals in just 16 games.
Who should Manchester United sign?
While all four are exciting potential incoming however the one issue is, three of them play in the same position.
Zirkzee would be a great option up front to play alongside Hojlund but which of the other three would be best suited to join him?
If we had the pick, Olise is without a doubt the best option. Potentially one of the Premier League’s best players already, he’d be an excellent signing and could make an instant impact.
He’d fit in well to a front three alongside forwards like Alejandro Garnacho too.
