Bungalows Cordial Sandy Golf

a little far from the main areas, but the bungalows are super cute and cozy 🥰🥰🥰

Stayed for two weeks from the 16th April. This is about our 4th visit to the Sandy Golf bungalows, and it gets better every time. Fantastic quiet complex, lovely clean comfortable bungalows. All of the staff our polite, friendly, smiling and hard working. The cleaners were amazing and nothing was a problem, the gardeners maintained the gardens to a high standard, the pool area and pool bar were also very clean with friendly staff. a very warm welcome on arrival at reception and we was soon checked in with all the information we needed. Reception was very helpful during our stay. we cant thank you all enough for the hard work you all put in to make our holiday that bit more special and we will be returning next year. This is a wonderful place such lovely clean apartments I will definitely return. I saw some reviews about it being far out and yes it is slighty but there are a few places walking distance and the free shuttle bus is great. We regularly went into maspalomas and playa de Inglés and never paid more than 6 euros for a taxi which also are so easy to get. The staff here were great too.

dissapointed,,,having come here at least 5 or 6 years in a row,,we had emailed sandy golf 2 or 3 weeks before our holiday requesting one of 4 different numbers 43, 45, 47 or 49..they have sun facing bungalows..when we arrived late on sunday night ,,had to cross the road to check in...no problem...were given room 46..it has no sun. all we wanted was the sun...aproached mabell monday morn to see could she change room...we were told without her even checking the screen,,no sorry were full...not a room left....complained to anna from jet 2....as my partner has walking difficulties ,we didnt want to walk to the pool...suddenly room 81 was available for 170 euro extra....didnt pay it.we just put upwith the room we had,,..was not worth figting anymore with them....even the room we had no 46 had a horrible smell over night coming from bathroom..had to get up everynight to flush the toilet every 3 hours,,,during the day it was being used and was grand...reported it...when maintance man came during the day,,no smell.he said it was fine.....so dissapointed with sandy golf and jet 2....

We have been visiting Sandy Golf for near on twenty years now. The staff gardens and pool remain amazing. Don't want to be critical but like other regulars have said it's time for the bungalows to be upgraded inside and out. Lots of the plaster is falling off and the kitchen area and shower room really needs to be updated. Did this spoil our holiday, 100% not. Quiet and relaxing though having just returned the weather was the worst in 20 years. As I've said staff brilliant and can't do enough for you. Would recommend.

If, like me you love nature you are within walking distance from the ocean, a desert ( complete with camels) and unique wetland teeming with water birds. All against the back drop of nearly 2000m high moutain peaks. There are also some decent restaurants nearby ;)

Lovely quiet hotel. Beautiful heated pool. Rooms clean and well presented. Shuttle to both the beach at Maspalomas and Playa del Ingles. However the one time we tried to use it there was no space, taxi ride was only €6 so no big deal and we ended up walking after the first time. Good on site mini market. We were self catering so cannot comment on quality of food. Use of facilities at Green Golf hotel opposite however this did appear a lot more busy with more young families. If you are looking for a peaceful holiday then this is the place. The only let down was that beach towels were not provided. According to reception they are only available in the superior rooms, there was no option to hire them so had to purchase 3 for our use. Not a big deal but had we known we would have taken our own.

Had a nice winter break at Sandy golf. Apartment was appropriate for our needs. Just one gripe was that you do not feel valued as a club Cordial member. By this I mean, we were not granted our chosen apartment/s as other Cordial sites do, no welcome gift ( had to request it) and placed in the most shadiest area of the site. I was told that only pay up front club members get to choose apartment, when I queried it at check in. When this is not true.

This was a lovely hotel with everything you could need for a quiet self catering holiday! The grounds were lovely with lots of trees and plants and the layout of the apartments were great as they all circled the pool in the centre, so it felt like every bungalow was really close to the pool. The pool area was beautiful and clean, and even on what felt like busy days, you could always get a sun bed. You were able to use inflatables in the pool too which was good for the kids. Even though it was a quieter venue to some hotels, there was still a good mixture of people and families. There was a pool cafe which was handy selling food and Drink and this was open until 6pm. Lots of people continued to use the pool into the evening which was nice too. There is no entertainment on an evening and is very much a place to relax on your own terrace at night or head out, but I did hear entertainment over the road at the sister hotel which you could go to. The rooms/apartments were comfortable and had everything you needed for self catering. The beds were comfortable and there was a sofa bed in the lounge for our son. There is no air con but each room has a ceiling fan which was fine once you got used to the heat! The kitchen was well stocked and the bathroom was a good size. There is a large terrace with your own sun beds and table etc, which was handy on an evening or for breakfast, and there is another outside ‘yard’ where you can hang your wet towels. It felt like house keeping were in nearly every day adding clean towels or a clean tea towel etc, and wiping the bathroom, and the beds were changed a couple of times in 11 nights. Reception were friendly and helped with anything we needed and everyone we met was friendly. There are a couple of good supermarkets close by within a 5 min walk where you can get everything, and the shop over in the other hotel was a decent size and you could get most things there! The Holiday World was a 10 min walk and has a small theme park, arcades, bowling and a food court which is great for children/teenagers. Maspalomas beach would be a longer walk but it was only €6 in a taxi and there was a taxi rank pretty much outside of the hotel which was very handy. Or there is a free bus that picks up outside of the hotel a few times a day and drops right at the beach! The hotel feels a little out of the way of things, but once you get your bearings, there is plenty around. I would definitely consider going back to this hotel and I don’t think I have any complaints!
