All is OK!

Upon arriving at 11:00pm, we arrived to a loud kids club downstairs which could be heard from our room (this was every night). Room average (what we paid for) looks the same as pictures. 5€ fee at check-in. Staff friendly, supermarket across the road which was handy. Shower pressure good, no hairdryer or kettle. Rooms clean. Thin walls, you can hear everything - loads of kids constantly running around the floors/lifts.

The hotel was average. The food was great and was different everyday. Staff were nice and friendly. Pool side sitting area limited. Great location and right in the middle of town. The room needs more colours and features, it was very standard.

Overall good stay, clean hotel good location, had breakfast a few mornings there was everything you would expect! Pool area kept nice and clean also and has a steam room and a lovely warm jacuzzi One thing we found very unusual was - no fridge or kettle in the room, I did go to reception to ask for a kettle but was told no they don’t have one!? 5-10 mins walk from the train station if you are wanting to go into Barcelona for a day trip about an hour and a half on the train. Would stay again if wanting to come back to this part of Spain - take earplugs!!

I spent some incredible days at the hotel. Comfortable rooms with good views. The reception and bar staff were great and very attentive to every detail. I would return without hesitation. A pleasant stay.

We are coming to the end of our stay here and cannot describe how dissapointed myself and others are with the service from the reception staff and the bar staff. On various occasions we have been made to feel belittled, whether this is due to our age (our party consists of three girls aged (18-20) or the language barrier…either way we should not be made to feel uncomfortable whilst paying so much money to stay here. The food is close to inedible, hairs found on food and poor selection. Taking drinks even water bought from outside of the hotel is “forbidden”, making this a very expensive stay as they overcharge significantly for their drinks here. Not only have we been made to feel uncomfortable during our stay but we also had sleepless nights caused by an individual knocking on our door at 3am claiming to be the reception, we didn’t answer the door so it is unknown whether it was a member of staff or somebody dangerous.

Bad stuff and not for English and can’t move sun beds and bad food I am disabled and had very bad holiday couldn’t wait to go home and put me on 7 floor and hold holiday was rubbish and all the entertainment are all is Spain and it nothing for the English . And it for Spain and only for people that take like it and don’t matter about what the engish want there no entertainment by the pool and nothing what it say and u have pay for hair dryer and kick out time. Is 11:30 and Barkfast is 8:30am to 9:30 which is a joke cos how does that even work and sun bed they don’t have lot and lot chairs and table and I hated every minute of it NEVER AGAIN DONT BOOK IT NOT WORTH THE MONEY

On arrival it was like entering a cattle market. Wasn’t sure who worked behind reception half a dozen people there chatting no acknowledgement we were waiting. Finally spoke to someone couldn’t understand us. Got someone else. Room wasn’t ready. They told us to put our luggage into the locked/secure luggage room - joke as soon as we unlocked the door a guest propped it open with a chair and there must have been a swarm of over 20 guests in and out noting secure about this room, so we refused to leave our cases and bags and waited. Up to out room 133 the common hall way stank of stale smoke it was awful. The room had 4 beds so 4 guests one plug socket for 4 guests. The balcony was tiny 2 chairs for 4 guests but to be honest you would probably have only got one guest on the balcony it was that small. It overlooked a lovely alley way with graffiti, rubbish and broken glass. It absolutely stank of rubbish. Went to reception as we had no intention of staying in that room, I didn’t really want to stay in the hotel to be honest. Again spoke to a young lady behind reception couldn’t understand me, finally the older lady came manager? Not sure but when I told her what the room number was she looked at everyone else behind the desk as if to say “ we tried our luck with that one it didn’t work”, we were moved to another room 425 much better cleaner smelling hall way, bigger balcony and enough chairs for 4. Food - awful absolutely dreadful we unfortunately were full board salad offered up for breakfast lunch and dinner, other food was cold, watery, bread rolls offered only butter to go with the bread in the mornings. We would take the butter from the morning to use for lunch or dinner if we managed to eat there. Breakfast was the best of the worst had bread and pastries. Entertainment- if you like very bad one man and his organ then great oh and all in Spanish no English entertainment for the whole time we were there. Luckily only 5 days. No parasols around the pool not one! Good points the outside jacuzzis and the sauna room. Close to the beach. Train into Barcelona unfortunately That’s it I would defiantly not return even if it was free. They do not cater for British whatsoever, even outside of the hotel as soon as they knew we were British they were extremely rude. Once you’ve walked the ***** and back you’ve done Malgrat.
