The Posthotel in Leavenworth is a hidden gem amongst the chaos of the city. It is so calm, serene, a place to truly unwind in a quiet space. My husband and I stayed at the Posthotel for a few days for our anniversary, and it was truly such a joy. Every single person we spoke to was so kind and genuine. When we entered the lower pool area, we were immediately welcomed and asked if we would like a tour. If you are going for the first time, I absolutely recommend it. We were told things like the approximate temperature of each sauna room, how to use each room, that the cold plunge pools were two different temperatures, that the interior hot tub and exterior ones are the same temperature but the exterior one is naturally cooler because of the temperature outside. The note to bring a towel into the marble slab room to use as a pillow is such a good one. We floated from pool to pool, room to room, and while we were concerned that we would be bored - we never were. Now the food - it was remarkably good, and we owe most of that to Tana. Her recommendations were so good each and every time that if we didn't see her, or we were seated by someone else, I went to find her to ask her what she would recommend. From the Honey Amaretto Lavender Latte, to the Steak Salad, we even ordered the crepes because of her - and we are not crepe people - they were amazing! Not only were Tana's recommendations perfect, she was also a truly delightful person. We are making our way back to the Posthotel in a few weeks for my birthday and we are looking forward to seeing her again and everyone at the Posthotel.

I’m honestly not sure what the hype is about this place. It’s nice, don’t get me wrong, but at the expensive cost per night, I expect a lot more. In general, the vibe is pretty stuffy and doesn’t align with the chill and down to earth vibe of Leavenworth. The pool is fine, but it was crowded. Actually, all the chairs were saved and there were quite a few people at times, but definitely not as many people as there were spots saved. This is my number one complaint about hotels - if you have a pool please monitor the chair claimers. There were staff on the pool grounds who rudely told my friend and I to whisper, even though we were barely speaking and it was super early in the morning and we were the only ones there, and never mind the fact that the groundsman was using his leaf blower 25 feet away. The hotel staff was okay - not especially helpful and certainly didn’t go above and beyond in any capacity. We stayed for my friends 40th and had a bit of complicated reservation that required switching rooms mid-stay. This resulted in issues with the keys and needing baggage claim, etc. Every time we spoke to someone at the front desk, it was a new person and they couldn’t wrap their heads around the situation, and we had to start from the beginning. They even misplaced my friends luggage at one point. Felt very disconnected and was stressful. The food was okay - nothing amazing. There’s no alcohol on the grounds which I kind of understand since it’s a spa, but it would have been nice to have the option for champagne. This is a beautiful hotel, probably the best in the area, but I’m just not sure how the experience warrants the price and I don’t plan on coming back any time soon, if at all.

I'm not sure why this hotel is rated 3 star on google, its a 5 star experience. The detail and thoughtfulness of this hotel is outstanding. The spa area was incredible, the 7 different saunas were beautifully designed and all unique. It was so fun to drink coffee in the outdoor hot tub in the morning while it was snowing outside. We stayed 3 nights, while it was wonderful I was a bit spa'd out by the end and would stay 2 nights next time. The food was delicious & plentiful. All the baked goods (bread, scones, desserts) were outstanding. I got a massage and facial combo which was nice but for the price I'd probably skip it next time because just relaxing all day by the pool and using the saunas was enough of a treat. We went in winter and it was probably 75-80 degrees in the indoor area and not humid at all, it felt amazing to lounge around in a swimsuit all day while watching the snow fall outside. While this place is pricy its worth it and includes a lot like access to the spa, saunas, parking, breakfast, lunch & dessert. There's no additional "resort fees" and other crap fees that many hotels charge these days. A few areas for improvement (though keep in mind they got hundreds of details perfect) are: - not letting people toss their stuff on chairs first thing in the morning and leave and come back as they want throughout the day. This causes all the chairs to get reserved with most people not even using them. Seems like a better system would be for the spa attendants to seat you as you come in and kindly ask you to take your things when you leave and reseat you if you return. - the marble bath tub in the rooms is gorgeous but is cold and absorbs all the heat, the water coming out of the facet was super hot and my bath was luke warm and cooled off quickly. - the beds could be softer, more plush. - a coffee table or ottoman in front of the couch/ fire place area would be nice, the tall large round thing is useless and blocks the view of the fire from the couch.

Wife & I have been coming here since it opened. I don’t understand why anyone would give it less than 5 stars, it has Always been perfect for us. It IS private, you can’t come to look around without a reservation, but that’s what makes it comfortable to wear a robe all day, to breakfast, pool, lunch, spa…all day. VERY relaxing and the pools, saunas & steam rooms are fantastic. For those that want to stop in just for food, you can’t do that, same for the Spa area but that’s fine for us since the rooms are top notch. During summer that have bikes you can checkout for free and ride the trails. This trip we brought our snowshoes only to find that they have those now as well.

We had a lovely holiday stay at Posthotel. Absolutely first class. Our room was beautifully acquainted and we loved the glass fireplace and huge tub. Immaculate Beautiful views of the snow-covered mountains. The included breakfasts and lunches were outstanding. Fun to discover that three-quarters of the diners were there in their white robes and slippers! It is a spa for gosh sakes!! Staff incredibly professional and looking out for our best experience. Best of all was the spa! The pools were wonderful and my wife’s massage and my facial were ooh-la-la. We can’t wait to return! Thank you, Posthotel! (Oh, and below building parking was fantastic.)

Another wonderful stay at the Posthotel. My wife and I love coming here to completely, receive great food and service. Right when I put on the robe and slippers I start to unwind. All the staff are friendly and welcoming. We hated to leave today but are looking forward to our next visit.

Loved our return visit. Wellness area was relaxing as expected, although guests seemed to be a little louder and less respectful of others than before. Lots of talking in the saunas and common areas. Also a little taken aback by all the phones. I've never seen so many people in a pool with phones, and even a tripod or two to get the perfect Instagram photo or video. C'mon, people. Be in the moment and relax. Food was incredible...so many wonderful choices. Staff was friendly and helpful. Lucked out with crystal clear skies the entire weekend, making for stunning views. Looking forward to our next visit.

What a beautiful property and location. It was lovely to enjoy the mountain views and fall colors on some of the last sunny days of the year. This was our second stay. The rooms are luxurious and well maintained. It seemed like there were luggage carts the first stay but no worry. Someone immediately came down to the garage and helped carry our luggage up. The front desk was responsive to every request from picking up dishes or bringing fresh bathrobes. The staff in the dining room, spa, and housekeeping were equally kind and responsive. The real treat is the spa.

We drove 2 hours from Seattle through construction traffic to have lunch at the posthotel. From a friend suggestion Once there you have to call the front desk since nobody is allowed through the doors without a hotel key I had planned to purchase a gift card for my friends for an overnight stay and have lunch. After explaining to the person on the phone I was told only hotel guests are allowed to have lunch at the hotel Save you time and money. I will never stay there after the way I was treated Btw this was off season during the week. It was not busy
