Olympic Hotel

Excellent hotel, very kind staff, especially the guy who stays there in the afternoon towards the evening, everyone is attentive and available to the simplest requests. My room was a bit disadvantaged, in terms of view, because it was located immediately next to the entrance, and I had a limited view, a glimpse of the sea and brambles. Despite the location, very quiet, and good privacy on the balcony, I decided not to add air conditioning and I must say, it wasn't the coolest week, even though on the mezzanine floor, I slept well at night. The decor is very simple, but there is more to Karpathos to look at. The bathroom was small, but the only problem was the shower cubicle, tiny and with the curtain that sticks on us in the slightest movement, I dare not imagine a person with an important tonnage ... Spotless common areas, impeccable swimming pool and surrounding patio, with very comfortable sunbeds. The linen was not changed until the 5th day (but at least for me it wasn't a problem because it was clean btw), on the last day I found them clean, but we didn't even use them. The only con I can find, is the breakfast. Little variety and the same every single day. They offer coffee, tea, orange juice, loaf of homemade sliced ​​bread. Biscuits, always the same, butter, jam in two flavors, and hot salty, omelette and frankfurters and fried egg and frankfurters, slices of cheese and ham alternate. To stand out the excellent quality Greek yogurt, which you can accompany with honey or peaches in syrup. Breakfast is good, but you make it the same every day. One single day they put a varied cake. Take into consideration, if you don't have a sprung vehicle, that it is quite challenging uphill compared to the center of Pigadia. It will be 10/12 minutes of ascent, which at certain times of the day are heavy, even at the end of the evening with tiredness. But we did it! (this would be the only reason not to come back, but it would be. It's not said that you won't come back, because I had a great time)

Clean, cozy hotel with very helpful and friendly staff. Good value for money. It is very close to a 3-star hotel. To improve in the offer of variety in the breakfast. The swimming pool is very clean and well maintained, used by customers for relaxation and socializing.

When we arrived, we were put in a very small (dated) room with the toilets in a deplorable state and we did not have the view of the sea as requested. We asked to change rooms and there we were installed in a room in better condition but still inhabited at that time (bathing suit on the bed, slache, ...) In addition, the shower was very small and the curtain stuck to the toilet. To end on a high note, when we left, the hotel asked us to pay for the fridge when we had already done so when we arrived!!!!!! We were taken for thieves. Let's not talk about breakfast...

Very good, impeccable maintenance, clean and very friendly people. whatever you need, they are next to you, willing to help you. When I go to Karpathos again I will definitely prefer this hotel.

Fantastisch familie Hotel. Erg gastvrij en zeer behulpzaam. Zij maken je vakantie compleet. Heel mooi zwembad met comfortabele ligbedden. Kamers zijn / gezien de kwaliteit prijs verhouding oké. Hotel ligt op een heuvel waardoor je een Fantastisch uitzicht hebt , maar voor mensen die slecht te been zijn is een auto geen overbodige luxe. Ontbijt is prima.

Olympic hotel iszeer gedateerd. In de 7 dagen dat wij daar waren was er geen sfeer. 1: onbijt Het ontbijt is karig en de verse broodjes zijn er beperkt. Verder koude omeletten, 1 soort kaas en 1 soort worst. Totaal niet volgens de foto's op de TUI website. 2. Kamer: onze kamer met balkon op 2e verdieping met zeezicht en 2 aparte bedden. - 1 bed piepte enorm bij de geringste beweging en je wordt daar wakker van. -beide matrassen zijn keihard. -Kamer is erg gehorig: hoestende en pratende buren had te veel last van. -tussen balkons buren zi geen muurtje, je zit elkaar aan te kijken 3. Badkamer: heel erg krap. Je moet de douche in je hand houden. Douchegordijn over toilet hangen, zodat die nuet tegen je aan plajt. Daardoor is de badkamervloer altijd nat. Een toilet dat niet goed spoelde en een wastafel die slecht doorliep. Dat je de berg op moet om in de haven te komen is geen wandelingetje! Maar er is niks en dan ook echt niks in de buurt, nog geen koffiebarretje alles is echt een eindje weg. Wij gaan hier nooit meer heen.

Elke dag dezelfde boterhammen en kaas en worst. Het leek erop dat men wilde dat je niet teveel at, want er lag van alles niet zo heel veel. Er was geen vers fruit zoals je in Griekenland gewend bent. De doucheruimte is klein en je moet moeite doen om het douchegordijn niet tegen je aan te laten plakken.
