The most horrible experience we could have had, which completely ruined our entire vacation. We arrived there and were led to the room, an old, dirty, and ugly room where not even the Wi-Fi signal reached. The room looks NOTHING like it did on booking, don't be fooled. In 7 days, the room was cleaned only twice, and the towels were changed only 3 times.

we stayed for 10 days and it was lovely. Clean rooms every day and nice quiet pool - was on top of a big hill with beautiful views so maybe not suitable for people less mobile - for us it was okay. 10 min walk on to beach prominad area great location.

By far, this is the worst hotel i've ever been, and i've been around since a while. Food is not edible, it's raw and chewy, water tastes like sulphur. 4 stars hotel which should be downgraded to 2 stars max. Bed like a plank, and the pillows were hard as a rock. Staff, especially the receptionists and bartenders, is rude and unprofessional. Bartender was doing shots with the customers while a line was waiting to be served. No minibar, no water in the room, no nothing. AC has not been serviced and cleaned since it was installed. 2m away from the entrance to the room there was a hornet's nest. Bathroom filled with spiders, cleaning lady didn't bother to visit. But the top of everything were the pools: 2 adults and 1 kids pool. The paint was peeling off the bottom of the pool and was floating on the water. The showers were having rust all over them, basically there was no maintenance in this hotel for quite some years. Family hotel without any kind of entertainment. And there is more, but all in all, i don't want to hear about the Hersonissos Village or Palace ever again in my life. After 2 horifying days spent at the Village we were transfered by the agency to the Palace. That's another story, less worse but still a thing to avoid. Ah...and did i say they had rats? Unfortunately i couldn't photo them, but for the rest there are enough photos.

We were by coincidence given an apartment that was like a small castle, the internal standard was the same as the rest of the apartments and quite decent overall. Was an advantage that it was quiet and could only hear noise coming from other hotels. Breakfast certainly wasn’t the standard “brits abroad” would get in the likes of Benidorm or costa del sol, but plenty to choose from despite it being the same everyday. My judgement was that it was a local standard. Lunches and evening meals were great though, that was the difference. The sweets were too irresistible and think I’ve put an awful lot of weight staying there 🤣 Not much entertainment apart from a good Cretan dance night that involved the audience rather a lot. If you want to go to a local, traditional Cretan/Greek restaurant then I highly recommend “taverna 1939” it’s amazing. A family run restaurant since 1939 (hence the name” that go above a beyond to please all customers. Also noted the locals go there as well. Plenty of sun loungers, pool good and not full of drunken brits like in Spain. In fact there was only one other British family. Mostly German and Polish guests but was no socialising between the Polish and German, wonder why 🤣 But, overall very happy with the place and could see the restaurant manager was on top of his staff to keep the guests happy.

A beautiful white village style hotel on the top of a hill with beautiful views. Unfortunately the hotel is in need of some TLC it’s a little dated. No map signs for where things are, games room was run down and all out of order! The bedroom was pretty basic but clean. The pool areas are small but nice enough. Breakfast was the same each day a variety of hot and cold items, fresh made pancakes which were quite lovely. Lunch was served at the out door pool/bar area, dinner was in the restaurant area and both were your standard buffet style we only ate lunch twice and didnt have an evening meal which seems a waste as we were all inclusive. All inclusive drinks were disappointing as you can only have beer, wine, soft drinks brandy or ouzo! Everything else you have to pay for and the cocktails were just as much as the bars in hersonissos 7€ There’s no ATM and you can’t pay card?? Rooms were cleaned (brushed, bed made and bins emptied) daily but we had to leave the towels on the floor in the bathroom to make sure they were changed. Most staff were friendly just one gentleman (assuming he’s the manager) was quite rude and unhelpful. I don’t think we would stay again.

Maid service was excellent. Pool was lovely - good availability of sun loungers without the need to reserve them. Transgender friendly hotel. Excellent view. Photos do not reflect the true likeliness of the hotel itself now. Games room - run down No idea where anything was in the hotel as they was no map or guide to show your their facilities, also no information about times for food upon check in. Food was good but we got bored pretty quick. Not totally all inclusive as bar drinks/cocktails you had to pay for. Poor selection of inclusive alcohol - beer tasted good but hardly any alcohol in it. Wine was bland. Soft drinks were good. Room was excellent and exceptionally clean. Friendly hotel staff, apart from one grumpy one. Will need cash at this hotel - no ATM. If you have mobility problems this is not the hotel for you. It is on a big ass hill, everywhere has steps and uneven paths The little town has a good selection of bars and restaurants. You will see plenty of cats, who are lovely and friendly

The first effect after registration was so so.., after turkish UAI resorts. But we consciously decided to go there, to try to be free of obsessive entertainment and quietly to discover an island and learn something new about people of Crete. View is excellent ! Good availability of sun loungers without the need to reserve them. All inclusive drinks choices might be better. Personal is kindly and gentle. At the end of holiday's we didn't want to leave this place. Special thanks to bartender Κωνσταντίνος for bringing to our holiday colours, festive mood and great communication. Thank you! Wish you all the best and good luck!!!

Food: I loved the food. There was a huge range of things to choose from. For breakfast there were things like pancakes, croissants, cake, toast, eggs etc. for lunch there was chips, pizza, salad, pasta, and puddings like fridge cake etc. for dinner there were things like pasta for vegetarians and non vegetarians, chips, salad, meats, spring rolls and noodles one of the nights and so much more, puddings were cakes and other cool cake type things. Through the day after breakfast and before dinner they had cakes and biscuits out too. They also had lost of fruit available. They had drink dispenser things with drinks like lime, lemonade, soda (fizzy) water, normal water, cola, juices and beer with plastic cups to help yourself. There was never a time where there wasn’t something I could eat!! Pools: there was 3 pools, a baby pool, a smaller main pool and a big main pool. The main pool was a very good depth and even when lots of people were in there was still enough room to swim around. The sunbeds by the medium pool were more comfortable but more bushy and I preferred the ones by the main pool. You would have to go down early and put towels down on the sunbeds you want to reserve them. By the main pool was all the food and drink and a shop and they played good music there every day. Rooms: it was basic but nice. The beds were good and there was shutters on the doors otherwise it would be so bright. The air con did the job and there is a balcony at the end of the room. The bathroom was good. The only thing I wasn’t keen on was the shower but there was nothing wrong with it so it wasn’t a problem! Staff: really nice people and friendly and super hardworking people. The tables in the restaurant were always very clean. Also towels were changed often too. There was a beach nearby and the town was easy to get to but hard to get back up from because of the steep hill up to the hotel but I still managed it. Other things to do there: there was a gym with some good equipment and there was a room where you could play table tennis etc. the shop on the site was very handy whenever you wanted a bottle of a drink or a snack or souvenirs to go home with. Bar at night: it was cool because they had a Dj to play really good music which made it more entertaining and you could get any drink you want like wine, beer, coke, lemonade etc. the only thing obvious I would change is a bus service available to take you to the town and other places. It’s a good place for people of any age. It was easy to know what you were supposed to do and I was worried about the time frames before I came but it turned out there was plenty of time to make your way to get your food without having to rush. It’s a beautiful hotel and the views really are spectacular. I can easily say this is possibly my favourite holiday and I will definitely be back as soon as possible!!!!!
