Pros:
1- Friendly service
2- Really cheap compared to other five star hotels in the area
3- Very good food
4- In the city centre. I was in Hurghada for business, and it was the closest five stars hotel to all the governmental services and the airport.

Cons:
1- Beach and pool weren't the best yet they weren't bad either

Just keep in mind that you get what u pay for, so if u are going for business, as in my case, it would be great, otherwise, you might find better hotels.

It was an amazing holiday..the hotel is excellent in very thing and each service.
We have to thank all the people we met their..from the man on the gate..the receptionists ..the room service..the different restaurants and bars..the clear beach..I'm afraid to forget anyone or anything I interested there.
So if I have extra days I'll come back again and again.

We can't even describe the amount of respect we have for this hotel, from the moment we stepped in it we fell in love with everything. The food is great, a very wide range of different meals from all over, the view of the beach is amazing and the beach itself is pure magic, no waves and clear water to swim in. The rooms are very clean and tidy, has everything you need. The staff are so nice and polite and very helpful and cooperative. The whole place has everything you ever need to enjoy your stay whether you were on a vacation or a visit on the weekends and i loved the fact that children are not allowed in here. I would definitely book here again and will recommend this hotel to everyone i know thats coming here!

Overall I could not have enjoyed my stay at sunrise holidays anymore. It was amazing and my first time abroad anywhere, so to top this would be super hard. Me and my partner are looking to return as we enjoyed everything offered to us! The spa, the gym, the restaurants, the room, the shops, the beach, the boating trips... everything was just amazing so thank you for making my first holiday very special!

We loved the resort from the moment we got there. Clean, friendly and loads to do day and night. Loved the fact that there were no children there. Rooms are a little dated and could do with an upgrade but they were clean, comfortable and had everything we required. Every meal we had was delicious and the service was good . Loved both the pool and beach areas. Some nice little shops there to buy holiday goods and gifts. Our favourite was the perfume shop, a lovely welcome with a cup of hibiscus tea and nice products to purchase. Didn't need to leave the resort during our stay because it had everything that we needed on site. Saying that, there were some nice boat trips on offer if you fancy a day out.
The staff were friendly and attentive at all times.
Would definitely book to stay here again in the future.

Hotel and staff great. The hotel is always undergoing improvements, very noticeable when you return. The volume of returning guests is quite unique I believe. Its a very relaxing hotel with all good amenities and extremely helpful, friendly staff. Hotel on the beach to the back and the town to the front so you have everything right to hand. It really is like coming home every time you walk up the front steps to reception. We can't wait to return soon. Thank you!

A great relaxing holiday. All staff are fantastic and really make the hotel a good place to stay.
It’s good that refurbishments are happening soon as parts are looking a bit tired but this in no way affected the holiday.
The only negative I have is that despite the welcome pack states no reserving of sun beds, people still did it. I got up at 7am on our last day and all the beds with a shade on the island were “reserved” with nobody sitting on them until after 9am.

We enjoyed the experience very much. All staff were very friendly and efficient.
The room cleaner was friendly and cleaned the room well and it was good to have water bottles and clean, good quality towels daily. My wife loved the swans made up with the towels! It was also very nice to be able to have tea and coffee in the room. The air conditioning in the room worked well.
The pool bar was good as was the wine and the cocktails were lovely.
The quality and variety of the food in the restaurants was good, enjoyed the fresh fruit, dates especially, and the deserts. We also enjoyed eating in the Mediterranean restaurant and Nasaya restaurant where staff and food were very good.
Staff in the hotel shops were friendly and the prices good.
Availability of beach towels was brilliant. It was also nice to have the option of swimming in the lagoon. The red flag is a good idea.
The entertainment team were lots of fun and the entertainment varied and enjoyable.
All in all we had a very relaxing time and would recommend this hotel. Thanks guys!

Overall a lovely hotel with in the main very friendly and efficient staff, all cleaners were polite and friendly, never failing to say good morning, and did a good job of cleaning and restocking the room. As stated above the only negative was condition of the bathroom and the one waiter. Would happily recommend the hotel to anyone, and we will probably return in the future. We would hope that as a dress code for evening meals is advertised that it would be enforced. It is not a pleasant experience eating a meal surrounded by people in shorts and vest tops.

This was the best holiday I have ever been on and a lot of the reason was due to the hotel. It was so warm and welcoming. Everyone made you feel like they knew you personally. The staff made a point of remembering your preferences and really looking after you. Even down to the gardener who gave me flowers and the cleaner with his amazing towel art. All staff are a credit to the hotel.

Was expecting 5* was more 3* room very tired. bathroom had mouldy grout and sealant. And having a foot problem struggled to get in and out the bath as the handle was very loose.. Complained about most of the lights not working at reception after first night.. Ended up looking at fuse board and resetting them ourselves 2days later.. We were only approached on our last day by Animation team asking if we had any problems etc . So no idea on shows etc
Our room 601 being on the very north end of hotel was very windy and caused loud whistle through the badly fitting door keeping me awake most of the night
Reception team need to have better customer service skills.. The couple of times I went to reception to have my room key reactivated I wasn't made to feel welcome. not very welcoming at all. A smile would have been nice. Our first visit at your hotel.. And most likely our last
But well done to our room cleaner.. The only person that chatted to us and made us feel welcome.. Always smiling wishing us a good morning etc he's the only person that stood out for us.

We didn't have dinner at the new restaurant.. Why would you pay extra for a meal when you've already paid to go all inclusive

Plenty of sunloungers always managed to find one after 10 but hotel was very quiet which was nice..

The staff were very friendly and efficient. Always checking if all was good or if anything needed attention. Food was excellent. Entertainment schedule could be promoted more by a bigger notice or inclusion in welcome pack. Loved the beach and the red flag was a nice touch. Superior rooms were nice. I would not have liked to stay in the small and rather old standard room we were accidentally shown.

My husband and I just returned from 10 days at this hotel. We love it so much and after several visits we are still looking forward to returning again next year. The staff are amazing, welcoming, friendly and professional. Special thanks to Osama, Manager, who always makes our holiday brilliant! The catering staff are great and will prepare something for you if nothing in the buffet takes your fancy - although we were more than happy with the selection. The hotel is very clean and relaxing, so if anyone is looking for a great getaway we'd definitely recommend this hotel.

Very nice hotel. Staff always want to know if you have any issues and are quick to rectify them. Pool is heated. Very nice. Lagoon is constantly fed by the sea. Lots of fish to see. There is a diving centre on site. Not far from town. I recommend this hotel if you don't have kids. Very good. Food very good. Lots of choice

The staff, service, rooms and food at the hotel are good and deserve a 4* rating.
Personally however, I wouldn't recommend the hotel for solo travellers because the layout of the hotel doesn't encourage people to mingle. I have found on previous visits to Egypt that having a long bar where people can sit is much better that a bar that is only equipped with small tables.
Having said that though, there were plenty of couples who were there for the 3rd or 4th time and enjoyed each visit.
The beach is very good and there is a small lagoon as well as a swimming pool.
All in all, I might return with a group but, unfortunately, not on my own.

Had a very bad experience firstly we booked two rooms next to each other with sea view they gave us two room same floor saying it was opposite to each other four steps difference which is a lie because u have to go around to get to one another. Secondly they gave us room in the ground floor which we can't see no talk sea view and what really made us angry is that they could lie balatenly to your face. Thirdly the clean wise is horrible bedding stinks and the food is so horrible and cold.

We had to argue with them for a day to give us what we have paid for lastly they managed to give us two rooms next to each other with sea view which what we really paid for. The rooms are good and clean. don't understand why couldn't they gave us what we asked for from the beginning.

In general they have been so helpful and tried their best to please us.

I would recommend this hotel despite the misunderstanding at the beginning.

We had a wonderful week with you guys and will come back again. Just a few problems I need to raise, the locations for drinks during the day on the beach is limited, you need another bar area near the Beach Towels to save having to go up to the pool bar.
I read before hand that there is a dress code for long trousers in the evening then noticed this was not enforced and gentleman were wearing shorts and flip flops at night!? Very disappointing for my husband who would have preferred to wear tailored shorts at night, again we didn't raise any questions but feel this was not communicated properly and needs to be clearer.
I see the hotel is having a makeover on the outside and hopefully the rooms will be addressed too as our furniture was very tired and dated. The plastic glasses during the day could be a bit larger.

Other than the few points raised we had a wonderful holiday and made some great friends with staff and other guests - THANK YOU

Loved the staff and animation team are a credit to you, the best I’ve seen. The rooms are old and the same goes for the overall of appearance. However we both loved it and truly had an amazing time. For Thomas cook, they need to have a swap box near reception. Meaning any leftover hair shampoo, sun cream etc may help someone else who has run out.
We have no complaints whatsoever and had a truly lovely time. Just please upgrade furniture in rooms and surrounding areas with renovations. As looking really old fashioned. However credit due to all staff. Thank you for a great holiday and when renovations complete, we will be back.

Lovely clean adult only hotel with friendly staff. Very nice relaxed beach/lagoon. Nasaya restaurant wasn't used by us as too expensive when we were all inclusive anyway. We're going to book up for next January same hotel.

1st visit to Egypt and I was very impressed by the hospitality we received you were welcomed home like family and staff in all areas were outstanding nothing was to much trouble they checked on you every day and if you had a problem which we did not I would think it would be resolved immediately. Food in the restaurants we used was fantastic so much variety and themed days I even had a roast beef dinner marvellous. We will be back to this fantastic country and especially this hotel.

Fantastic hotel, maintenance at a high standard, service always with a smile with friendly staff. Food is great, especially at the Mediterranean restaurant. We booked an evening at the Nasaya restaurant at an extra cost but was worth every penny. Tried camel steak for the first time, delicious. Some good entertainment each night assisted by the animation team. Thanks all.

A wonderful relaxing hotel to spend your holiday.The staff are so friendly and go the extra mile ensuring you have a wonderful stress free time,there is nothing they wont do for you and completely spoil you.I have had a wonderful 3 weeks here after a long illness and I am sure my recovery was helped by the kind caring staff.The food was amazing and plentiful for all pallets,the housekeeping are well trained and keep your room spotless. Most of all the hotel manager Hamada greets you with a warm welcome and the biggest smile ever, he expects nothing but the best for you and ensures his senior staff make sure that you are satisfied with the service provided,nothing is a problem and if it can be fixed that day then it is.I would recommend this hotel to all my family and friends and hopefully we will be back in October. I have also posted a review on facebook and trip advisor as I am so impressed.There are some work going on to update the hotel but there is no disruption to guests at all they try and keep the noise to a minimum not enough to complain about.

Been to this hotel twice last year the last visit being early December and currently booking again for March the staff are ultra friendly, the hotel is to a high standard with no complaints anywhere. lots of money been spent on the place to keep it right with a new beach restaurant just opening, new boat dock being built, and the hotel has just been paint inside and out had a great time on both occasions looking forward to March.

My wife a
nd I had a chat & agreed this is the best hotel we have stayed in our travels. From management to waiters to 0 to bar staff to cleaners, gardeners to great accommodation and great can do attitudes. Great really enjoyed.

As always it was nice to come home again. It was my 22nd stay and still its not boring. The whole staff is constantly trying to do their best to let you feel comfortable and at home. Everyone is friendly and is trying to interact with their quests. I can't wait to come back again soon. The hotel is making lots of improvements (new beach area and restaurant, in the restaurant much better food and free wifi everywhere.

When room refurb is complete this hotel will rate higher as staff,cleanliness and service are already top marks. We were looked after so well and every effort made to make our holiday excellent. Staff amazing. Food really good and service impeccable.

Large hotel and ideal for adults wanting a good place to stay. The absence of children provides a relaxing atmosphere and the location is ideal for people who want to take a walk into the tourist centre of Hurghada with all the shops and bars. Numerous taxis constantly pass by so there's no problem with transport. Good facilities and friendly staff throughout.

Great hotel but shows are very poor and not long disappointing and very basic not much else to do inside for entertainment and really there's no proper bars to sit by and have a good drink only one outside. As big as the place is there should be proper bars inside to sit by and have a good chat and drink.

The Hotel in general is large, well equipped and clean. The staff are excellent, helpful without being pushy. The beach area is more grit stone that sand but there are plenty of sun loungers and you can red flag your table so you don't get approached by salesmen or tour operators. The snorkelling is good, there is a small pool like inlet for the less confident, or you can go straight off the small jetty, the water here is deep, and you don't have to go far out before it's very deep indeed, there is very little in the way of coral or plant life, (you would have to do a boat trip for that) but there is huge quantity of fish including a large ray. When we next return to Hurghada this will be our first choice of where to stay.

My wife and I stayed at the Resort for 11 nights and overall we were both very satisfied with the hotel and particularly our contact with the staff, who literally couldn't do enough for us. The location is lovely and in terms of value for money when looking for a relaxing holiday in Egypt - I truly believe it would be difficult to match. Thank you to everyone at the Resort.

Another fantastic stay. The staff are the best anywhere, so friendly and helpful. Cleanliness first rate in the room and all the public areas.. Shower didn't drain well. Air con was very efficient.

I cannot fault the staff or the service we received during our stay, both were excellent and issues were addressed to our complete satisfaction.

However, we feel the hotel falls short of the expected 4/5 star standard. Rooms were small and some elements clearly past their best (eg the bathroom looked in need of refurbishment, though everything did work). The standard rooms are all quite dark as the only natural light comes from the external balcony door which is a single pane less than one metre wide.

مكان الفندق جيد جدا. قريب من شارع حيوى ومعظم الغرف مطله على الشاطئ. الاستقبال معاملتهم جيده جدا. االنظافه بوجه عام فى الفندق جيده. الواى فاى سريع ومتوفر فى معظم اماكن الفندق ومجانى. الشاطئ نظيف وحمام السباحه. اغلب الموظفين فى الفندق معاملتهم جيده. الهدوء فى الفندق جيد. ولكن توجد بعض السلبيات بعض الموظفين فى المطعم وعند حمام السباحه لا يعطو اهتمام للمصريين مثل ما يعطوا للاجانب. يجب ان تكون المعامله واحدة للاجنبي وللمصري فكلاهما نزلاء وايضا المطعم يفتقد للتنوع فى الحلويات.

I love this hotel for in here not for the first time. Food in different restaurants is delicious so you can find everything for your taste. Beach is no doubt fabulous. Very amazing place.
The only disappointment that we couldn't stay longer.

I spent several awesome days with my brothers in this hotel and i could say its the best choice for active vacation. There are a lot of stuff to do and with animation from the morning till the evening. Also i want to say thanks to stuff working there. Everyone tried hard to make our holiday good. And we enjoyed every single day.

We arrived at Sunrise holidays resort on 11th August 2017 and were welcomed by the karaoke evening. We were pleased to have chosen this hotel as it is adult only. Upon arrival we received a drink and our luggage was taken to our rooms. My experience at sunrise holiday was good with the staff they were all happy and willing to help where possible. The food however could be a wider variety.
As for the entertainment they were very good and always tried to get the audience involved however they should maybe have longer entertainment as they start at 9.30pm.
The beach is very clean and there is plenty of space for everyone to have a sunbed even leaving space for more people. The red flag system worked very well and we were able to sunbathe without any bother from the businesses trying to sell us things.
The cleanliness of are room was good and got cleaned everyday and new towels replaced along with bottles of water.

Food in the restaurant of the second floor ( we did not try the others yet) is great and animation are very good and helpful. The sea is very beautiful and comfortable entrance there. Can we allow swimming till sun set.The view from our room is picturesque. I will come again.
Can we make zones in the hotel for families with children.
