I cannot say enough wonderful things about this hotel. All meals were included, along with available childcare programs included in the cost of the reservation available from 9 AM to 8 PM (you can pay for additional child care hours after that). The buffet was excellent, and had selections specifically geared towards kids. The rooms had bathrobes for both adults and children. The cost for three nights for this weekend was 949€, although I think the current price may be less because we hit the last weekend of summer. There was a great kids pool and an indoor pool when it was raining, along with umbrellas/loungers on the beach, also included. There is also a water taxi to go to the city center (30 kuna), or bus service (Free). We didn’t pay for an ocean view room, but had a gorgeous view of both the ocean and pool.

Terrific stay at the hotel. Good food, especially seafood and the stews. Kids club was well run with lots of constructive activities. Good indoor and outdoor pools. Very helpful staff.

Amazing family hotel in brilliant location. Pools for every age. Games room and theatre are 5 star with Fifa and Fortnite tournaments a highlight for my 10 year old. No battles for sun beds. Food in restaurants was excellent although it became slightly repetitive. Football coaches and gaming room staff need praise for excellent work with the kids.

Absolutely amazing hotel. Feels like a resort. Brilliant for kids and adults. Food great. Area, including beach is clean and has plenty of activities for all.

Thay have breakfast lunch and dinner buffets!
Thay also have 3 out side swimming pools and 2 inside swimming pools.
And 1 out side water slide.
Thay have a gaming room and activities for kids.
Almost every couple has a child.
Thay also have a Jim of you want to work out.
Thay have like 30 play grounds!!!!!!!
You get a wristband instead of a key or a card to open you room get food and come back in the hotel!

We were really satisfied! The best in Croatia-finally kids hotel there. Bike rent, kids seats, kids trolleys. Kids club 9-21. Pebbles beach.

This is just some small suggestion what the hotel could improve: To loud ventilation of bathroom without chance to turn it of. To loud noise from outside corridor every morning rooms 355/356 door is not against noise. No chance to lock balcony door when kids they have their own room. No night light in room when kids they have their own room to find toilets. Cold and closed outside swimming pool :-(
Comments for wellness and restaurants:
Colored led lights in steam sauna and in wellness would make it more cozy. More outside activity in kids club. Annoying waiting for bike rent stuff (every day) and one of them really not polite (no greet, no sorry, don’t care with helmets, no smile = i’m annoying him to rent whatever). Longer night disco for kids with supervisors that parents could enjoy dinner. Bar - really long waiting for order. For next orders you have to come to bar desk!! Restaurant no one is coming to ask you for drink!!! They would be able to sell a lot of paid drinks when someone would care.

5 stars for the awesome women at the babyclub - branka, patricia, ines, .. those ladies took care so well of our baby. a strong reason to come back. 5 stars for the buffet, the blue carpet and the outdoor playgrounds. 3 stars for the room cleaning. i told them twice to clean better and they just came back to do the minimum of what i was trying to explain them and the next time it didnt get better unfortunately. 3 stars for some unprefessional and unfriendly waitors at the buffet. especially one tall skinny one who was very rude. i wish i had written down his name. but all in all a very good experience, we enjoyed our stay very much and i totally recommend families with little babies to spend their vacation at Amarin Family hotel.

Very friendly staff, beautiful room, great restaurant with buffet breakfast/lunch/dinner, lots of things to do with children, and affordable price in the off season makes this a place to come back year after year.

Excellent hotel, perfect for families with small children. So if you do not want to mess with kids avoid this hotel. Hotel is renovated, food is nice and there is a pool in the hotel. There is 45min walk to the city. Parking is available at the hotel. Recommend.

Hotel Amarin is described as a family hotel and it's almost impossible to disagree :)

We visited it a couple of weeks ago for a weekend (family of four, me, wife and two kids, 1 year old baby and 4 year old girl) and it was awesome.

Location is perfect! Hotel itself is placed right next to the beach to which is connected with a promenade that is excellent for a light stroll or a walk. It's very easily accessible with a car and it has many parking spots. There are numerous outside children parks and toys to play with!

Inside is flawlessly designed! Everything is adjusted for kids, there are many places for kids to play, every room is accessible with ramps all the way up to the highest floor! Kids can use little scooters to drive all over the hotel :) also.

Many details are adjusted for children, floors are carpeted, there are puzzles on the wall, handrails are secured so kids can't get stuck (with their feet for example), hotel is heated so you can be in short clothes even in winter.

Food is extremely delicious and tasty! It has unbelievable wide selection of everything, from cereals, bread, cheese, istrian specialties (truffle cheese for example), all kinds of meat and vegetable you can think of (chicken, turkey, minced meat, pork, lamb, beef, all kinds of fish like tuna, cod, squid, potato, spinach, broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower...), pizza, stews, scrambled eggs, pasta, lasagna.. Desserts are great also, many cakes, ice creams, all kinds of fruit, pancakes, cookies, biscuits...
Everything was very fresh and every meat was prepared right in front of you!

Entertainment is also very commendable, there are all sorts of arcades and video games to play, there is a cinema that every night plays some movie or cartoon, there are disco shows, magic shows, kids play workshops etc.

Of course, hotel has swimming pools and gym for older visitors (that are also very well adjusted for little ones), kids have their own little gym :)

But nothing of this wouldn't matter much if the staff isn't as good as they are! Every single person were extremely polite and helpful and all staff and personnel working in Hotel Amarin deserve special praise for their hard work and endless enthusiasm and professionalism!

Definitely I highly recommend Hotel Amarin for a family vacation, it has everything a family needs for a safe and truly great experience and relaxing holiday!

Fab for a family holiday. So much thought has gone into making this a safe and enjoyable place for children. Anything you can think of, they have already thought of it. Rooms are spacious with novel games for children and very clean. For a couple without children we have have thoroughly enjoyed our holiday but we came low season so mainly little ones who don't make so much noise and probably more couples than in high season. It may not be for couples in busy times. Food is fab, hot with different options each day and plenty of choice. Service spot on!

Very satisfied! A true Family Hotel, perfect balance between leisure and things to do, a paradise for both kids and parents. Awesome food, nice rooms (with a postcard view towards the city of Rovinj), cozy and fun pool area, spacious outdoor playgrounds, great indoor wellness and pools, a fully functional and fun crash for kids, with friendly and motivated staff, providing animation throughout the day.

Great family hotel where every part of a family will be able to relax and to enjoy the stay. A lot of thoughts and efforts were made to keep the kids busy. The beach offers some natural shadow what is perfect on a hot summer day.

Great family friendly hotel. There are many outdoor playgrounds and educational playthings for various age ranges. Even he lobby is amazing for small children. Many big and small things that are great for a vacation with your little ones.

Great rooms, children friendly hotel, tasty fresh food with plenty to select from, lots of entertainment; The only thing that has to be improved is the connection between the hotel and the city of Rovinj. Maybe by mini-bus or little tourist train. Current prices of taxi are absolutely too high.

Stay with your hotel was a wonderful experience for our toddler and for us. This is by far the best hotel we have stayed in in terms of what it provides for toddlers and hence easing the job for parents. All ticked options were correctly prepared and waiting for us in the room upon arrival (child bed, changing table, kettle, ...). It is a nice touch to have something for kids to play with even in reception, so check-in went smoothly. Play areas are all around and are nicely done and entertaining for our toddler. Selection of pools inside and out was also very welcome, so we could have gone swimming any time of day without worrying to expose our child to too high temperatures during the day. It is also nice touch to have shade over children's pool outside. Surroundings are nicely maintained and a joy to walk around. Restaurant provided plenty of children's high chairs, which were of good quality. We also enjoyed children's corner, where we could receive food prepared special for our toddler.

Couple of deficiencies and possible areas for improvement:
- beds for adults were way too stiff for our taste. I appreciate though this is a matter of preference and some might have enjoyed them a lot. Though I am more used to having more medium stiff beds in hotels, which cover wider selection of preferences.
- there was a gym bike in kids gym that was partially broken with few very sharp pieces exposed. Potential danger of injury to kids! It would be nice if somebody checked this equipment from time to time and remove those that need maintenance.
- it was a bit too hot in kids zone
- Kid's bed was missing water proof lining. Bedding for kids bed was also a bit too small and we couldn't tuck it in. Luckily we brought our own bedding from home. Bed itself though was very good!

All in all; even despite these deficients, still the best choice for our stay with a toddler!

Fantastic for families with kids. Food was decent - served buffet style, good variety, although no baby food. Our room was great - furbished in a very nice, clean modern style with a great balcony and view of the sea. Overall great facilities and great animation programme​ for kids 2+ years of age.

We loved the tidiness and the rooms in general, surrounding is beautiful and well suited for the youngest. Interior playgrounds are nice and enough big for children. The food in restaurant is great, and the stuff is kind.
Just one thing to add, at least as an option for the future. Caffe in the lobby is far away from the playground. It would be good to have caffe bar on the 0 level near the playground, so the parents can sit, drink and chat and kids could play near. This would be great. The rest is perfect.

Bei leerem Hotel kein "Late Check-out", trotz gehobener Kategorie. Das war sehr schade, da wir meine Geburtstag somit für Packen der Koffer benötigen um am nächsten Tage bis 11:45 abzureisen.
Es hat auch keiner registriert, dass ich Geburtstag hatte.

Sehr gutes Hotel!

Aus meiner Sicht gilt es zu verbessern:

- Personal ist teilweise relativ unfreundlich und teilweise extrem unmotiviert. Warum dies so ist kann ich nicht beurteilen. Teilweise ist es aber auch sehr nett, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Würde sagen 50:50
- Liegen am Strand sind ab 8:30 Uhr per Handtuch reserviert. Ab 8:30 kein Platz mehr frei. Hier müssen Sie was tun. Ggf. Computer-Reservierungssystem? Wir können Ihnen eines entwickeln ([email protected])

Ansonsten wirklich sehr sehr gutes Hotel!!

Für 2 Sterne war das Hotel und die Anlage eigentlich sehr gut! Die Badezimmer lassen zu wünschen übrig, aber wenn man daran denkt das es zwei Sterne sind. Man kann jeden abend während des Sonnenuntergangs abendessen, wunderschön gelegen und man kann viel unternehmen, wie tauchen, Tretboot fahren, segelkurse usw.

Отель очень понравился! Кормят превосходно, завтрак и ужин большой выбор. Персонал дружелюбен. Если не говорят по русски то как минимум понимают (английский и немецкий больше в ходу) Море практически у порога. Пляж галька, но это наверное плюс, чище вода. Очень здорово плавать с маской и ластами и лицезреть шустрых рыбок. На берегу есть Дайв-клуб. На берегу можно устроится как самостоятельно так и купить шезлонг (2 шезлонга стоят 80 кун прим. 450 руб. одна куна примерно 6 рублей) На против ресепшена есть маленький магазинчик в котором можно прикупить всё для пляжного отдыха. Маски, трубки, коврики, надувные матрацы и круги. Но самое главное не забудьте купить там специальные тапочки в которых удобно заходить в воду по каменистому дну. Тоже самое можно купить в магазинчике на въезде в отель. Воду можно пить из под крана, но если вы так не делаете, то желательно сразу приобрести 5литровую бутыль (стоит 12 кун в магазичике на КПП гостинцы). Воду поздно вечером, можно приобрести только в одном магазине за пределами гостинницы. В 50 метрах от шлагбаума КПП гостинницы стоит маленький магазинчик. Там воду продают по 10 кун объемом 0,33. До города Ровиня можно добраться пешком либо на курсирующем морском транспорте. Билет в одном направлении на одного человека стоит 25 кун. Не забудьте покормить черного большого кота который живет прямо напротив выхода и ресепшена. Даже если вы его не видите (он спит в кусте) позовите его. С радостным мяканием он выйдет к вам, показывая всем своим видом, что он де не спал, а службу несет бодро ничем не отвлекаясь. Своё караульное место кот покидает ночью, обходя свои владения.

Прекрасный отель, доброжелательный персонал, отличное питание. С пляжа открывается замечательный вид на Ровинь. Пляж галька, вода чистейшая, берег утопает в соснах. До ровиня пешком минут 40 по дороге, либо на велосипеде минут 15. Городок просто изумительно красивый.
