Nasturtiums (in 5" band pot)

A TOP favorite for cutting gardens and containers!

These heirloom and specialty varieties are SO hard to find, which is honestly just an excuse for why we grow so many! Blooms and leaves add whimsy to bouquets — and are so dang cute in a vase all by themselves — and both blooms and leaves are edible! Perfect for salads, cold soups, desserts, seasonal cocktails and charcuterie boards. The more you harvest, the more they bloom!

TO GROW

Our nasturtiums are planted in 5” tall “band pots” to give their long roots plenty of room to stretch out. Carefully transplant them in the ground or in large pots. Space 6-12” apart in full sun to filtered light.

Note: Afternoon shade is very helpful during our hot summers; in fact, if it’s really hot, Nasturtiums almost come to a standstill in the hea. BUT they come back strong when the weather cools a bit. Blooms best when NOT fertilized.
