Miss Iceland has walked out of a beauty contest claiming she was told that she was too fat and needed to lose weight days before the final.

Arna Yr Jonsdottir, 21, said that organisers of the Miss Grand International beauty pageant in Las Vegas had told her to “stop eating breakfast, eat just salad for lunch and drink water every evening until the contest”.
