PETER Andre is seen breaking down in floods of tears in a hard-hitting new music video from pianist Fabio D'Andrea.

The short film’s warning gives the first indication that the popstar’s latest project is a gritty one - and worlds away from his topless Mysterious Girl breakthrough.

Peter, 50, is seen in an acting - rather than singing - role as he plays dad Jack to accompany Fabio’s latest release, Another Way.

The harrowing opening scenes see his son having attempted to take his own life in the family bathroom, after suffering at the hands of school bullies.

Peter arrives home and is immediately called upstairs where he sees the heartbreaking incident unfold, with his wife Tash cuddling their son in her arms.

He grabs hold of his child and starts sobbing in exclusive images shared with The Sun - before being seen in a another room with tears in his eyes.

Later scenes indicate their son sadly passed away.

The role is bound to feel close to home for Peter, who is a dad of four with his fifth child on the way.

The dance element of this film is performed by former Britain’s Got Talent runner-up, Lillianna Clifton, who plays one of Jack’s daughters.

Another Way is the latest music video from Fabio’s visual piano album, 24.

The first of its kind, the project consists of 24 original piano pieces, one in every musical key, each accompanied by a feature-film style music video directed by Fabio himself.

The music videos combine music, dance and drama in an innovative way, while commenting on current and emotive social issues,

Peter said of his involvement, “After watching Fabio's powerful work, I knew I wanted to be a part of it. Such an incredibly tough subject needs to be highlighted in a way that will hopefully help bring it to the forefront.

"For me, playing Jack was incredible, tapping into many emotions. As people may know, I've been very open about my own mental struggles in the past, which certainly made it all the more powerful for me.

"Millions of people worldwide are going through mental health struggles, and many find it incredibly difficult to reach out and talk about it.

"I'm hopeful that this video will help those in need by showing them how important it is not to bottle things up and encouraging them to talk and get the support they need.”

Fabio added: “We are living in interesting times where everything is different to my own experience of growing up.

"Bullying and mental health problems existed but now with phones and social media, issues have changed and increased.

"I wanted to create a music video that shows there can be a way through the darkness and that there is another way and a way out.

"We all need to talk to each other, and if that can’t happen at home, there are other people out there who can help.”

Fabio directs all his own videos and notably worked with Mel B to highlight the reality of domestic violence in Love Should Not Hurt.
