She was born Emily MacDonagh on August 16, 1989, in Taunton and is the daughter of Ruaraidh and Bex MacDonagh.
Emily was a medical student when they met in 2010 and is now a doctor who often gives health advice on ITV's Lorraine.
Emily and Peter are also known for regularly appearing on This Morning.

The couple met through her father who is also a doctor.
Peter had been due to appear at the Plymouth Pavilions when he was rushed to hospital in excruciating pain.
He had kidney stones and was treated by Emily's father.
Pete became close to the consultant urologist, and when he returned to perform at the Plymouth venue, he was introduced to Emily.

Emily and Peter were friends for quite a while after they first met before anything turned romantic.
It wasn't long after Peter's high-profile divorce from Katie Price and he was concentrating on being a good dad to his children, Princess and Junior.
There was a spark between them though and eventually Peter plucked up the courage to ask his friend, Emily's father, for permission to ask her out on a date.

Junior doctor Emily surprised Peter by wrapping up the pregnancy test which she and daughter Millie (Amelia) gave to him.
She told her followers: "When Pete got home I told him we had got him a present.
"He didn't get it and was just looking at the test.
"He thought I'd just bought one to do! Pete started crying when I told him I was pregnant. He was really happy."
Theo was then born on November 22, 2016.
April 2024 saw the couple welcomed their third child - another daughter.
Peter shared a message saying: "Just minutes old……
"We feel so overwhelmed right now. So happy to welcome our beautiful girl to the family.
"Mum and daughter are doing amazing. Born Tuesday 2nd April 2024, 7lb 3oz and thankfully very healthy.
"Baby has been spoilt with cuddles from Junior, Princess, Amelia and Theo who are all in love with their new little sister. As parents, we couldn’t be happier."
Their daughter's name has not yet been revealed.
Peter also has two children with his ex Katie - Junior and Princess.
In October 2023, Peter and Emily revealed they were expecting a third child together - taking his total kids up to five.
Revealing the news, the singer said: "We are delighted to share the news with you all.
"A new addition to our family in 2024
