Bali-Inspired Camp in La Union

Dubbed as the Surfing Capital of Northern Philippines, La Union is famous for its surf quality waves bringing with it also a wave of tourists from all parts of the Philippines as well as hotels, resorts, and restaurants.

On the coast of Urbiztondo Beach, Camp Avenue is offering an island-vibe, laid-back beach camping site for all kinds of travelers. They have these Bali-style huts that you can rent for P800 per person. If you want more rugged style camping, you can also rent a tent and pitch it on the seaside for P500. If you have your own gears, you just have to pay P300. These prices are "pandemic price". It is best to call them ahead to know their current rates.

These huts contains pillows, queen-sized foam, socket for charging, a fan, complete bedding, and complimentary breakfast. Make sure to note that bathrooms are all common.

When we visited Camp Avenue, they just re-opened and they are re-organizing and cleaning things up so this cute little counter/bar they have where the chairs are cute little swings is still close but it is definitely super Instragmable!

They also have a huge dining area where it is a also a good place to do your daily work load. When we were there, a number of people came to actually do their work with their laptop here. The vibes is just relaxing, chic, and everything Bohemian.

They also have places where guests can mingle together with Camp Avenue's other common spaces. Camp Avenue made sure that these spaces are comfortable, inviting and can accomodate large groups.

One of the highlight in this resort is their "UMOK". Located in the center of the Bali-style huts, this is plainly a pure mix of Bali and Tulum.

"UMOK" is an Ilocano word for "Bird's Nest"

Also, before leaving La Union, make sure to stop at El Union and order their Dirty Horchata Coffee. Truly, a game-changer in the coffee game!
