While the console had promise, it was discontinued just two years later in 2001.

Its demise was due to a number of factors, including the release of Sony's PlayStation 2.

However, because of this, many of the Dreamcast's games quickly became collector's items.

This means that some of those games today are now worth hundreds of dollars.

One of the most valuable Sega Dreamcast games today is Sonic Adventure.

The video game was released in 1998 and was the first main Sonic the Hedgehog game to feature 3D gameplay.

It follows Sonic the Hedgehog and friends in their quest to collect the Chaos Emeralds and stop Doctor Robotnik from unleashing evil.

Specifically, the Limited Edition version of this game can get you $48.50 in loose condition (just the cartridge).

However, complete in the box (CIB), sellers can earn a cool $415.92.

Meanwhile, in new condition, the title can sell for a jaw-dropping $790.

OTHER GAMES TO LOOK OUT FOR

Sonic is not the only Sega Dreamcast game that can make you money.

Speed Devils (the Clean Cover) can get you $199.99 in loose condition.

Complete in the box, you can make around $299.99, and in new condition, you can get $570.

Pier Solar is another Sega game that can make you money.

Specifically, $66.87 for loose condition, $300 for CIB, and $570 for new condition.
