Primulas are something special. When in flower the blooms are delicate and eye catching. They come in a stunning array of colours and have a sweet, spicy scent. The flowers are 1.5-3cm across.
They grow best in cool summers so should be protected from the hot afternoon sun. They grow well in pots or can be planted in beds or rockeries. They need well drained soil.
