Peter Andre and wife Emily MacDonagh expecting second child
Peter Andre and Emily MacDonagh have confirmed they are expecting their second child together – a brother or sister for two-year-old Amelia.
The Australian singer and reality star posted a picture of a baby scan on Instagram on Thursday morning, captioned: “OMG Dad to be AGAIN :)) Brilliant. So so happy.”
The baby will be Peter’s fourth child. He has a 10-year-old son, Junior, and an eight-year-old daughter, Princess, with his ex-wife Katie Price. He’s also close with Harvey, Katie’s 14-year-old son from a previous relationship.
Appearing on Good Morning Britain earlier this year, Peter told hosts Kate Garraway and Charlotte Hawkins he was keen to have more children.
"I'd love to have another by the end of the year,” he said. “Ems just has to say when and I'm ready to go!
“Princess and Junior have bonded so well with Amelia and it's created this incredible family unit for Emily and I.
"I really wanted another boy but at the moment, Amelia is melting my heart. I keep saying to Emily, ‘One more baby’. The other day though, she said, ‘It won't be just one more baby - I think we'll have a few more kids.'"
Peter and Emily first met through Emily's father, a surgeon, who performed an operation on Peter in 2010. Emily completed a medical degree in 2015, and is now working as a junior doctor.
Amelia was born in January 2014, and the couple wed last year.
