It is a climber. Slight fragrance.

I have two densa and I've never noticed a fragrance. I'm going to be
sniffing a little closer in a month or so. How do you grow your densa,
Dot? I should have added that the photo is amazing. I've never really
looked at the blooms that close.

really interesting and great photo.
Could it be mounted?

Very nice. Are you going to need to mount it at some point?
I'm growing it semi-hydroponically right now, in diatomite. I've thought about mounting it, and may end up doing that. I'll have to decide once I unpot it and look at the roots.

Hydroponic growing, eh? I have one in a clay pot with long-fibered coco and one in a plastic pot with sphagnum and both are doing equally well.
Interesting. I took a look yesterday and the one in the clay pot is blooming and the other is setting bud. I can detect no fragrance so far, but it's been
in full bloom only a couple of days. I never thought of mounting one of them, but they are growing out of the pots.

Concerning mounting, would anyone recommend a good dab of sphagnum on the
mount over the roots? Mine seem to like a good bit of water.

Dot, I mounted the one in plastic/sphag. today with a good bit of moss
under it and over the roots. The roots are quite fine and lots of them so I'd
imagine I did some damage trying to get the old sphag. off. Now we shall
see what happens. wah hahaha!
