Cozy cabin features floor to ceiling knotty pine, granite counters,a large jetted soaking bath tub, covered hot tub, & deck with BBQ.
This house also now features a full house air conditioning unit.
This well laid out 2 story cozy cabin is the perfect place for a family and friends getaway! It features floor to ceiling knotty pine throughout the home, and vaulted ceilings upstairs to give it a nice open feel. Downstairs there is a nice little entry way in the back with a heater to dry out any wet snow or hiking gear. Off of the entry you will find a laundry room with a brand new large capacity washer and dryer. This opens up into the well-stocked kitchen with stainless appliances, and granite counter tops. There are an assortment of spices and condiments for you to use while you stay. Off of the kitchen is an open concept dining room and cozy living area to enjoy relaxing and visiting with your loved ones. The front door off of the living room follows a little stone path off of the porch to the covered hot tub gazebo where you can enjoy a glass of wine and soak your cares away with your friends and family.
Off of the living room you will find a full bathroom and a bedroom with a queen bed.
Upstairs to the right you will find a nice sized bedroom with a king bed, and its own entrance to the large bathroom and jetted soaking bathtub/ shower combo. There is also a private balcony off of this room.
The home features full house air conditioning, and an on demand hot water system so that you never run out of hot water when taking showers or baths back to back.
To the left of the stairs you will find a loft that can be closed off with curtains for privacy. This room features two twin beds, and some toys for kids if desired. There is also a second entrance to the upstairs bathroom right at the top of the stairs for the guests in the loft to access.
Outside you will find a small deck in the front that looks out over the yard, and fire pit. In the back of the home there is a larger deck with a table, chairs, and a BBQ for those beautiful summer nights!
This Chalet is the perfect place to feel right at home, and reconnect with your loved ones while you enjoy all the adventure that the Mt. Baker wilderness has to offer!
There are some beautiful walking trails that meander along the river which you can access by just a couple minutes’ walk away.

~We can not guarantee hot tub will be hot and ready the night of your arrival. It depends on how the previous guests treated it and if we have to drain it, but we will do our best to have it ready.

Cancellation Policy
No reservation is considered complete or secure until the rental agreement has been signed and returned to Serene Mountain Escapes.
The following refunds are permitted:
Cancellation Policy and Refunds The following refunds are permitted:
a. A thirty (30) day notice is required for all cancelations except for the following dates which require a ninety (90) day notice. Dates that require a 90 day notice are any bookings that include the following dates, holidays, or events- Mt. Baker's Banked Slalom weekend (Thursday-Monday, usually held in February), President's Day and weekend (Thursday - Monday, usually in February), June 30th - July 9th, Thanksgiving and Thanksgiving weekend (Wednesday - Monday surrounding Thanksgiving), & December 20th- January 5th.
Cancelations that are made more than thirty (30) days prior to the standard arrival date or more than ninety (90) days prior to the specific above mentioned dates will incur no penalty of rent fees except a $50.00 processing fee, and any incurred credit card or VRBO, Air BNB etc.. fees, all other monies will be returned.
b. Cancelations or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made within the 30 or 90 days of the above mentioned arrival dates forfeit 100% of the rental in full and deposit, plus all credit card fees, no refunds will be given within 30 days or above mentioned 90 days of check in date.
Guests agree that Serene Mountain Escapes and its affiliates have no
control over power outages, forest fires, or road closures. Therefor Guests agree to Hold Harmless Serene Mountain Escapes in these situations. No refunds will be given for power outages, ski area closures, road closures, smoke or anything else Manager has no control over such as these. Guest agrees that this rule particularly regarding power outages supersedes all other contracts, and agrees that NO refunds will be given for power outages even if other booking companies contracts claim they will.
Deposit Policy
A refundable damage deposit is required with every booking. The deposit amount is different for each home. The amount will be shown in the cost breakdown upon booking. This deposit shall be refunded within 14
business days of Checkout Date provided no deductions are made due to:
i. damage to the property or furnishings;
ii. dirt, stains, or other mess requiring excessive cleaning;
iii. theft from premises; (this includes welcome binders, and tip envelopes) or
iv. any other cost incurred by Us relating to the lease of the Property.
All fees pertaining to damage (s) and cleaning beyond reasonable use and wear will be the sole
responsibility of the Responsible Guest, regardless of the deposit amount. Damage, theft, or
cleaning in excess of the Damage Deposit will be charged at a rate of $50.00 per hour to the
credit card on file or billed directly to Responsible Guest. Damage includes but is not limited to
wine spills, damage to grounds by vehicles , damage to walls or furniture, damage to outside
furniture. Sorry, but pets are only allowed in some of our homes, please make sure to select an appropriate home if you plan to bring animals. Thanks!

We had a great stay at Rheannon's place this past weekend. The instructions to find the home were very clear and the home was very clean and lovely when we first entered the space. The home was very spacious for our group. We all felt very comfortable and excited to be so close to the ski hill. The hot tub was the best part after a long day of skiing, as you would expect. We will definitely be staying in the home again on our next adventure to the area. I would highly recommend the space!

My family (including children and grandparents) had a wonderful week at the Knotty Pine Chalet. Rhiannon was very quick to reply to my messages before the trip and while we were at the house. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was very functional (there was a blender and crockpot). We utilized the washer and dryer as well as the mudroom for drying out gear after skiing. The drive to the ski area from the house is easy and beautiful. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Rheannon was super responsive and proactive. Answered messages promptly. Came to shovel the driveway every day it snowed, which was almost every day. Knew the details of the unit like how to get the water heater to work, etc. Super helpful. If I get a place in Glacier, I'll have Rheannon manage it!

We had a great time staying at Knotty Pines in Glacier. The home is conveniently located near Graham's Store and Chain 9 Pizza and has a wonderful hot tub, lots of games, and a well stocked kitchen. We drove over to Artist Point to hike Chain Lakes Loop, which was simply stunning on a sunny day. We'll be back!

As a family of 5, Rheannon's cosy well-equipped cottage, was perfect to enjoy a lovely stay in the mountains, with a mix of trekking, sightseeing, reading on the house's porch and enjoying the bathtub at sunset. Rheannon keeps the cottage super clean and nicely decorated, we felt like in one of those nice houses in the woods from a children's fable book. Totally recommended and wishing to return some day!

"I Really Appreciate Her Going Above And Beyond"
We had a great time at the Knotty Pine Chalet. Rheannon was awesome and she was so responsive to all our inquiries. At one point she even called a couple of local places to help us find a place that can print/fax/scan. I really appreciate her going above and beyond to help out her guests. The place itself was fantastic. We watched movies on Amazon Prime, played board games, cooked some food in her kitchen, grilled some bbq on the grill, relaxed in their super awesome hot tub which is enclosed and just a few steps from the main house, sat around the fire pit in their front yard which is amazingly lit up by all these yard lights. It was a great stay and so close to Mount Baker Ski Area and Artist Point. Graham's Store is literally 2 minutes drive away and we got all our groceries there. So overall great stay, I loved the little thoughtful touches they did to welcome us, a handwritten note, chocolates, travel size tooth paste, deodorant, etc. Totally recommend it and we'll be coming to visit for sure!! We have been coming to glacier for our annual snowboard trip for 5 years in a row. This is the best cabin we’ve stayed at. The cabin was spotless with chocolate treats left on the table when we arrived. Hot tub and fire pit were to come back to after a long day at the mountain. The host was in constant communication with us and was accommodating to our needs in all ways. We will be renting this cabin again next year!

The cottage is pretty cute and it is in a gated community so couple more steps to check-in in exchange of safety. Jacuzzi is a plus especially you can watch snow falling in it. One of us lost his wallet there and the host connected with us 10 days later after snow melted. Really appreciate the service.

"You Cannot Go Wrong With This Place!"
We've stayed at Airbnbs all over the the world, -and here is why this place was tops: - Spotlessly clean - no dust what so ever. - Felt like new, from top to bottom - No clutter/ no knickknacks - Great brand of shampoo/conditioner, lotion, hand soaps in all bathrooms - Fully stocked kitchen not only pots and pans, but spices & olive oil. As there are not any places to eat nearby, aside from 1 place that was closed when we attempted to go there at 6 pm on a Friday night (Covid times) we knew this and brought all our own food and made meals at the house, so It was great to find olive oil, salt, pepper in the kitchen. - High quality kitchen pots, pans, knives, cutting boards. - Lastly, there were no cutting corners at this place, even as you open kitchen cup boards, and silverware drawers, everything was spotless. -No skimping on toilet paper, aluminum foil, dish soap, etc. Everything was a excellent. We appreciated every thoughtful effort that went into to making our stay so perfect! You cannot go wrong with this place!

Rheannon’s place is absolutely amazing! The attention to detail from the pots and pans, kids dishware to the hand written card when we arrived showed how much Rheannon and her family want to create a positive guest experience. We loved this place and the hot tub was a blast as well. Would deft recommend for a quite get away or if you just need to unplug and relax. There is WiFi but it I s spotty so I would t recommend if you need to get work done, but again, if you need to unplug and relax this is a great spot!!

Awesome cozy cabin with all the amenities and thoughtful touches you could ask for. We skied Mt Baker all week and were always glad to be back at the cabin, soaking in the hot tub or relaxing in front of the fire place. Plenty of space and the heated mud room was perfect for drying our gear for the following day. Will definitely visit again.

I would say that this is best cabin I have ever stayed in. Real pride of ownership. Everything is thoughtfully provide for any age category. Kitchen is fully stoked, bath, bedding, enormous collection of DVDs again for everyone taste and age. There is even a kit if you get sick due to hangover. =) Awesome host, Rheannon, take care about us very politely and helpful manner. I was a bit concerned about just one review, but I am not regretting that I chose this cabin. Will stay more and more times next time in winter. ( Rheannon, now I know for sure which kind of cabin I would like to purchase in nearest future =) )

The house is very lovely, cozy and comfortable. The place was very clean, even nicer in reality then on pictures. It feels like everything there is brand new. We enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. Everything in the house and around is done with love and care for the guests. You can find a lot of essentials around the house, games and books for kids. The location is great, nature is gorgeous there. There are many hiking trails close by, a river, and it is about half an hour of scenic drive to the Mt. Baker Ski Area. We had a wonderful time there and are already missing it. It is hard to imagine a better cabin. Rheannon is a great host. Thank you for everything!

When I arrived, the entire property was glowing with lights and it was very inviting. The cabin is cozy and beautiful, and very well maintained. You can tell that the owners care greatly for their property. The neighborhood is quiet and feels very safe. I love how close it is to some pretty incredible hikes and look-outs. I will definitely visit again. It was a fantastic getaway!

"Outstanding, and One of The Finest!"
It was disappointing that Mt. Baker closed due to COVID-19 as we arrived, but despite that, our stay at The Knotty Pine was outstanding. The home is immaculate, cozy, and well stocked. We have stayed in a lot of Airbnb's and VRBO's and this was one of the finest. There were lots of lovely touches that made it feel like home, we will stay again next year.
