This portrait is part of a serie I am making, the portrait starts as a copy of an Antoon van Dijck portrait, but after this layer, I start to add things so it becomes a portrait which is about painting itself, the exploration of painting, I do not try to 'damage' the painting like the artist Nicola Samori, but more I try to add layers to it, and in this process I have to be carefull when to stop, so it's like walking a tightrope.
