butterfly2507 maturing is realizing that bugs bunny is nothing but a big bully. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 12/26/23 Full Review Teddy B A surprisingly witty, charming, and likeable show that manages to create a (mostly) smooth transition between the traditional archaic and wacky atmosphere of Looney Tunes to a more contemporary and condensed modern atmosphere akin to the likes of Seinfeld. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 09/30/23 Full Review Patriotic M Whoever wrote Daffy Duck's character didn't understand the difference between funny and just plain dumb. If it's this easy to write comedy, everyone would make their characters so stupid literally nothing would happen every episode. There are many many episodes in this series where it feels like nothing builds on itself. Conclusions from other episodes are pointlessly erased to bring all the characters painfully back to square one. The only redeeming quality of this show is Daffy's relationship with Tina which isn't explored nearly enough and largely ignored. What a waste. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 07/25/23 Full Review Samuel B Amazing and criminally underrated. Very different from the usual Looney Tunes formula, but what the show lacks in faithfulness it makes up for ten-fold in comedy. One of the most hilarious shows I have ever watched, 10/10. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/16/22 Full Review Audience Member A great Looney Tunes reboot onto itself and clearly the best animated sitcom I have seen since The Simpsons! Brian Lowry Variety As pleasant as it is to see the characters again, "The Looney Tunes Show" represents a miscalculation - and basic misunderstanding of the franchise. May 14, 2020 Full Review Troy Patterson Slate The existential overtones of the classic Looney Tunes segments-with their predators and prey, their ever-impending Porky Pig-roasts-make way for an examination of quotidian emotional struggles. May 14, 2020 Full Review Emily Ashby Common Sense Media Overall, though, the show is light-hearted fun that both parents and kids can enjoy together.
