The Terrific Tree Peony | A FLORAL Series

ROSE & IVY Journal Tree Peonies

Tree peony season has come and gone but their beauty still lingers in my mind.  After ROSE & IVY's last issue, which had a feature called 'Woodland Beauty', I have been left entranced by the presence of these late spring blooms.  Most are larger than the palm of your hand, have an amazing powdery aroma and look like delicate crepe paper artfully arranged together.  I stopped by to see the collection at the Brooklyn Botanical Garden and was impressed by the many varieties that they had.  Here is a peak inside of these ethereal blooms.
