No access to the beach just to the hotel pool which is small. Not worth the price paid. 

Not worth the price 

I booked a cabana at the JW Marriott through the resort app. When I arrived they told me that they overbooked accidentally and didn't didn't have my reservation  have a cabana available. Instead they provided with with a daybed poolside and by the beach.  Extremely unprofessional. Im still waiting for a refund.

Excellent!

It was a great! The food and drinks were amazing. The only things we did not like is that you have to pay for beach chairs $30 each this is not a cheap pass so we thought it was a lot.

Everything was great! We enjoyed the daybed, food/drink service, and beach. Shout out to Rachel our server. She was attentive and friendly. 10/10 Would definitely return!

Fantastic service from Jordan and the rest of the staff. Exactly what you would expect from a JW Marriott. Good was excellent. 

Pool is a little small for the amount of people. Expect a lot of kids during spring break.

Great Service

I had a wonderful experience bringing my 2 boys, niece, and Mom for a day trip here. The hotel is gorgeous! We traveled in from Tampa and the traffic was a bear. Definitely tough to get all the way to this locale in Clearwater during a busy spring break season. The pool on the roof was lovely. It was SUPER windy and by 10AM there were 2 chairs left in the shade. The beach was a blast for my kids. Very contained, no waves, super safe. By 11:30 we were in the 2nd row which made for poor visibility of our kids. I ordered lunch immediately and it took an hour. Others ordered after me and had a far longer wait. Cocktails & drinks were delish, the food was excellent (loved my lamb burger!) too much wind for umbrellas so we got a bit burned! No locker room access for resort pass holders was a major bummer.

Family friendly, lovely staff, beautiful space

Beautiful location.  Amazing service and staff.  The pool was the perfect temperature but a bit smaller than we expected.  The cabana was nice but shaded for half the day, even for the chairs that were not under the cabana.  Keep in mind the pool is on the 11th floor rooftop.  Its not a large area.  

The curtains couldn't close so you didn't get privacy to change or nap.  There was electric in some but not ours.  We were told when we arrived that we didnt have beach access yet our confirmation said we did.  For $700 with taxes and fees, you would think you would include more!  We did get a fruit plate and free sodas which was nice.  It was a really enjoyable day but Ive had nicer cabanas in Hawaii for less.  But considering we didnt have lots of options in Clearwater, its priced based on  the supply.
