Description
One of the series of Galanthus hybrids selected and named by H.A . Greatorex of Norwich. This is one of the tallest of the Greatorex hybrids, once it is established and it makes very even, medium-sized, double flowers towards the end of the season for these hybrids.
The flowers are very neat and regular with 20 or slightly more, inner segments packed together both symmetrically and evenly with few, if any, aberrations – no curly or malformed ones! There is a green, inverted “V” mark on each of these inners, running much of the length, though the proportion is variable. The clone can also be partially, male- fertile at times with just a trace of pollen at the edges of the inner segments, in the manner of another Greatorex double, Titania.
The leaves in this clone are glaucous and slightly twisted.
