Description

Meaden’s Crimson has unmarked and rounded, dark green leaves and very dark and intense magenta-red flowers which verge towards purple more than any other coum form. These are white nosed, with the two colour zones being separated by a narrow purple band.

Quite small flowered compared to many coum with a less spreading, compact flower reminiscent of Cyclamen pseudibericum in both shape and colouring. The intensely coloured flowers show up superbly well against the plain, dark foliage. Named for the raiser Robert C. Meaden.
