Description

This belongs to a group of species with the leaves, each divided into three leaflets, thus resembling a smaller form of griffithii or speciosum.

The spathes are large and slender for their size, and are pale green very lightly (or not at all) marked with brown on the outside. Inside, all have thin white lines.

The spadix is amazing, it is very elongated and wanders down out of the flower spathe, all around adjacent foliage, around itself and down to the ground.

Unusual in having yellow tubers. Easily grown in the garden in light leafy soil in half shade. Himalayas.
