Description

(formerly Leucojum autumnale September Snow)

A new horticultural strain with white flowers which lack most of (but not every last trace) of the pink infusion usually found around the base of the bloom near the ovary. They thus appear to be a much purer white than the more usually encountered clones or strains. This is 100% true, genuine stock, obtained directly from the raiser, Antoine Hoog, who is also the person who named it!

In turn this was raised from a Vladimir Vasak find made in Italy, Sardinia, VV.AV.92. The material is NOT clonal, it is raised from Vladmir’s initial small collection and as such it is slightly variable, though true to type.
