This magnificent Puya from central Chile is a natural hybrid between Puya alpestris subsp. zoellneri and Puya venusta and forms clusters of narrow, silvery leaves and giant inflorescences with bell-shaped blue flowers. A stunning ornamental for warm temperate climates. Plants in cultivation begin flowering after 8 to 9 years.
