A small, dry deciduous tree rarely more than 12 m tall with a dense, rounded crown, narrow, dark green leaves and bell-shaped cream to yellow or brownish flowers. It is widespread in dry areas across Australia. Brachychiton gregorii makes a lovely ornamental tree particularly for dry tropical climates, even though it is less well known than other Brachychiton.
